Reason for choice:

Meigana was just a nameless blank canvas when I spotted her on Yahoo! Japan Auctions. She was a 50cm Obitsu body without a head or neck joint with endless possibilities.

Best Points:

I like how Obitsu 50cm bodies and parts are affordable, reliable, sturdy and abundant. No wonder the Obitsu 50cm body is super popular! This also makes it perfect for first time vinyl BJD owners!

Obitsu frame parts are used by Azone, Quarantotto/Yamato and Parabox thus encouraging hybridization.

Worst Points:

Obitsu joints are known to be squeaky in general, especially if the parts are new. I do not have many complaints about Obitsu 50s except that their skin parts tend to be really hard and not malleable. However, Parabox parts are softer and make an ideal replacement.

I think of Meigana like a "doll-gther" (daughter) because:

1) I‘m very protective of her.
2) She was the first doll in my physical possession.
3) She is the model of RneiroDOLL
4) She was the first doll in my physical possession.
5) I do not want her to be in NSFW positions or naked. She’d only be bare if I’m showing others her Angel Philia-DollyPop-Parabox hybrid part combinations on the appropriately marked thread. Even so, Meigana would rather me remove her head off her body before taking any pictures like that. She is very modest.

Anything that would be considered NSFW/18+ are off limit for my Meigana and GONN 3.0 unless I’m showing the parts they have on the appropriately marked NSFW thread.

My 3 project dolls, an Obitsu 65cm, 60cm and a 50cm incomplete frame.

She is the physical rendition of Meigana from my imagination, but isn’t the same person as her.

Name story:

I know this sounds silly, but Meigana began as a character in my imagination with short white hair, light blue eyes and facial markings, gorgon and mother of 3.

The Obitsu 50cm version of Meigana is different and isn’t the exact physical rendition of the imaginary Meigana. They look near identical but are not the same person, that’s all!
