I needed a nice Japanese name associated with light, as for last name it's one of my favourite vocalists' name.

Hikaru has Japanese citizenship and currently lives in Tokyo. He's hafu - born to a Japanese father and Korean mother. He was born in Kyoto. His mother died in a car accident when Hikaru was 14. His father is a reputable surgeon and wanted Hikaru to follow in his footsteps but Hikaru preferred art studies. When the father found out his son is gay, he got furious and hit Hikaru. After this incident Hikaru moved out of his family home and cut ties with his father. Thanks to his aunt he found an apartment in Tokyo and was able to finish studies at Geidai. He works full-time at an antique store and part-time at gay bar as a bartender. Hikaru is hard-working, a bit shy, introverted, melancholic and romantic.
