The head of operations for a private security company, Harding is charged with "employing" and concealing the evidence of some colossal mistakes. He got an old friend, Dietrich, to leave the military and join him because he needed someone he could trust. He butts heads constantly with his latest acquisition, Doctor Berringer, who he is starting to regret hiring despite his success. Berringer's meddling in Ajax's affairs threatens Harding's lifestyle and forces him to question how far he'll go to hide other people's mistakes.
