Felix was happily living a quiet, mundane life in the city when a man who claims to be Felix's great-grandfather shows up and whisks him away to some medieval nowheresville. Turns out that man is Loki, Norse trickster God, he IS Felix's great-grandfather, and this provincial backwater is the realm of Asgard. If that weren't bad enough, now Loki and Felix have to journey across the Nine Realms to stop Ragnarok, and Loki just signed a marriage contract between Felix and Thor's thrall, Roskva. She's nice though. And pretty. There are worse things than marrying this woman, like, say, getting killed by angry Fire Giants.
