Ethan is Esther's childhood best friend. He is extremely shy and socially awkward. He has been in love with her for many years and will do anything she says. So much so that he ends up becoming a female model in Japan after winning a contest accidentally (Esther entered, but she sent a picture of Ethan by mistake.) After they win, they are on their way to momo*pop, a failing company on the verge of closing. Ethan takes on the female alias "Ei-tan" and begins modeling. He is so popular with the fans that he becomes a celebrity and basically saves the company. At first he is incredibly embarrassed by this, but begins to get used to it and then eventually enjoys his job. He is often paired with Kohoshi in photos.
