This was actually the third BJD I ever bought, though he has spent most of his time with sephyelysian!
I had big plans for this doll, and had made some progress with it until I decided to scrap my entire collection and start over with new characters. This guy ended up with Sephy, who even kept his character.
Years later, I decided to give those original characters another try, and several of them got reshelled into other sculpts. I thought about making Dantalion into something else, but the whole idea of him being a shapeshifter makes me want him to have many heads, an idea the Delf Type 2+ lends itself to with the neck mechanism and all. I put him out of my mind, but then I was thinking about getting a Shine just because I missed having one... and Sephy offered me Dantalion back! So in the end, both the doll and the character returned. ♥ Thank you, Sephy!

Dantalion is kind of like a whiny old man always talking about the good old days, and his fashion choices reflect that. He loves period clothing from Europe, because it's what he grew up with. I'll put him in modern clothes now and then just for fun, but nothing too casual. Dantalion has to look fancy.

Dantalion was born human in 17th century France. He has the power of shapeshifting, and power he used constantly until he himself was all used up. In modern times, he is very unwell and spends most of his time complaining and sleeping. With some effort he maintains what he calls his "real face", but other aspects of his appearance are no longer under his control and change against his will.

Aim is Dantalion's best friend.
Gremory is the one who guided Aim and Dantalion to each other.
Murmur is an old friend of Dantalion's, and some say an old flame.
Paimon is a thorn in Dantalion's side.
