Ariel comes in as a new student attending Fortune Academy in Season Four. She is a foster child who along with her friend Lance has now found a permanent home in working for the Vampire Elysium keeper Alistair. Alistair worries that some children might have broken confidence and spoken of the hidden world that resides in the shadows of the human world.

Alistair sends the children Ariel and Lance undercover into the school system to befriend the two groups of students that he is most concerned about. The children are not to act in anyway that would put them in danger, all they need to do is report to Alistair.
