Her expression is priceless and her tan skin is a nice plus. Also, Fairyland’s magnetic hands and feet make changing her clothes easy.

I’d been keeping a lookout for another Realfee to add to my collection for quite some time, and this little one with her adorable curmudgeonly expression and tan skin seemed perfect for the character I was looking to shell.

I wanted her to wear warm, cozy knitwear adorned with plant bits as befits her character of a fae creature of the forest.

Name story:

I wanted something very woodland sounding, and something with an edge to it because she can be a bit naughty, being a fae creature of the forest. So I chose Brambles, which are known to be prickly.

Brambles is a magical fey creature who hales from one of the dark woodland areas in the fictional county of Midsomer in England (the setting for the BBC series, “Midsomer Murders”, where murders are always happening in the small villages there.) My husband and I love watching the show, and during the summer heatwave, watching the cool, dark forests and villages of Midsomer helped us to feel cooler! So I wanted a little fairy-type companion who could possible hale from that fictional place to watch Midsomer Murders with us. I see her as a magical “people watcher” who is fascinated by all the naughty shenanigans the village people of Midsomer get up to.
