    Date of acquisition:
    January 23, 2020
    Provenance:
Purchased through Stacy's Pink Ocean, body purchased secondhand here on DOA marketplace
    Reason for choice:
rounded nose, little fangs, fuzzy ears- it's like he was tailored to my weaknesses
    Best Points:
I love his face so much! he's very unique
    Worst Points:
his head's kind of heavy, and the body is single-jointed
Hybrid Notes: in some circumstances the head looks a little big on the body, and the neck hole is way too small for the neck. The resin is a shockingly good match for an old white body and a newer normal head.

  • Name story:
I named him after a figure from Celtic mythology, Balor of the Evil Eye. Balor was the leader of the Fomorians, the beings that ruled before the younger fae folk, the Tuatha de Danann, defeated them.
    Character age:
    ancient
    Character gender:
    male
    Offsite roleplay:
This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
Balor is a very old creature of faerie, a dangerous entity with the power to kill with just a glance from his cursed right eye. He's spent most of the ages of the world as ruler of a hidden kingdom beneath the earth. His people have something of a dark reputation, and even other fae steer clear of them, which is probably just as well. After being driven underground by more powerful beings, they aren't exactly fond of surface-dwellers. As it stands, they're viewed as almost a sort of boogeyman, a myth that Balor is quite content with. In recent years, he's grown a little bit curious about how the above-ground has progressed, and has started making occasional trips outside.
