Mercury is a sassy young woman who loves to dress to the nines. Even in her usual attire, she must have some sort of luxurious gold accent or sparkle somewhere.

Name story:

"Mercury" is a code name that came from an almost accidental mercury poisoning. Aylen Beckett was thought up by me.

Aylen Beckett grew up in what used to be the Navajo Nation of Arizona. She lived with her mother and many brothers and sisters until she escaped from her abusive home life at the age of 15, leaving her mother and siblings behind as she moved to Veta City. She made a decent living for herself as a market shop cashier until she was robbed at gunpoint by two common bandits. After fighting them off she attracted the attention of Zak, someone she would soon come to think of as a friend and ally.

After joining Zak at Omega, Aylen was captured during an infiltration job. Prodigy, the street-infamous, mysterious sniper, saved her from mercury poisoning thinking she was an innocent woman. Because of this, Mercury got her new name, and now feels indebted to Prodigy for saving her.
