Head bought from previous owner, who bought him from DDE; body purchased my myself via Alice's Collections.

Reason for choice:

I had already bought a Renewal A-Line Alan girl to make Arthur's mother before our D&D storyline led to, well, Arthur. I went with tan skin instead of her normal because his skin is darker than hers, but other than that he looks very much like a younger her. I had a chance to get an Alan Motion Line boy in tan while on sale, thought about creating Arthur, and spent many monies.

I really appreciate how solid Fairyland's quality feel is. Their casting is smooth and consistent.

Key fashion accessory:

A blue and yellow floral crown made for him by his mother and a wooden staff made from the "corpse" of a cousin cursed to turn into a tree.

Arthur wears the colors of his clan in a flowing style that enables freedom of movement. His standard attire is a tunic and trousers, with a sash over top that denotes his occupation as a druid. The staff he uses as a focus is made of the tree that one of his cousins became. (At least, he assumes it was a cousin; he's not actually sure who his father was, but she was at least a relative of some sort.) The only part of his attire that stands out from the clan is the brightly-colored flower crown his mother made for him when he was a child.

Name story:

Arthur Dawid High-Hill was named after his mother Trym's bardic master, Arthur Carrigan, and her younger brother Dawid, who raised Arthur while his mother travelled.

Arthur was raised by his uncle Dawid, but stayed in touch with his mother, who spent every winter with him. Being one of only two Halflings in a Dwarf clan (his uncle being the other), he always knew that family and community do not have to come from blood relatives. The fact that his unknown father's family take every opportunity to try to kidnap him only reinforced that belief.
The family from whom his unknown father originated is cursed to turn into trees instead of dying. In an effort to understand and come to terms with this part of his future, Arthur turned to Druidcraft. He seeks both to understand what is in his future, and to find a beautiful and peaceful place where he will be able to stand as a tree undisturbed.

Pictures of his face up taken by the artist with a random pair of eyes. His body new is still in production, but I couldn't wait to show off how pretty he is! The background on which he is lying is his wig.







And he has a body now!



I've only made his sash so far, because that was quicker than pants and I didn't want him left naked. I haven't found the right color for his shirt yet.

Oh, and I've had his crown ready for literal months, haha!
