Prince Ara, heir to the throne of... some region of space somewhere. Long ago, his family line was marked by a higher being and, once a generation, someone's born with strange, otherworldly traits, and that person is deemed the heir. This time, that's Ara!

He's well-meaning and enthusiastic - a bit too much so, sometimes. He loves adventure and often finds himself in a pickle one way or another - he didn't get that scar across his face for nothing. He tries to keep up his good spirits in the face of the responsibility of the throne looming before him. Though his mother, the current ruler, is in good health and he shouldn't be inheriting for many years yet, the idea intimidates him nonetheless.
