Alice is the younger sister of Zoey, Leah, Zarah and Lisette. The three are Angels. All Angels are an angel of something that they either look after or have a responsibility of.
For example; Zoey is the Angle of time, Leah is the angel of Death, Zarah is the Angel of fertility and Lisette is the angel of Dreams; Oracle.
In Alice's case, she is the Angel of Life. She has the ability to bring anything back to life, within a reasonable mount of time after they or it has died.

But she can not just revive anyone, it has to be approved by God. Alice is usually given a list of humans she has to revive threw the day. If you have even had a death or near death experience and survived, its highly likely Alice was the one to revive you.

Alice is actually the reincarnation to her former self. If an Angel dies it starts life over again, being born over and over again, finding an empty embryo to hide and grow in. After every reincarnation the memory from the previous life is forgotten, but can be remembered, so even you could be an angel. But don't worry, it is very hard for an angel to die. Angels are immortal and only a special blade can kill them, which was located in gods castle but has gone missing.. I could tell you how she died or who killed her.. but that would be spoiling the story.

You might also ask, What is the point in killing the Angel if she or he can reincarnate? That is a great question. But if the correct being is holding it the Angel's soul is destroyed. The only being with this power is God himself. It is only there as a backup plan for any Angel that is a danger to other Angels or the earth and the life on the earth.
There is only one Angel that has committed enough crime to get this punishment. Buuut I wont tell you who, you probably can guess.

Also, the reason an Angel is reincarnated into a human body is so that the person who killed them can not find them at there early stages of life. [This means there hole appearance changes too] It gives them time to grow and get there memory back, but this has only happened once. Alice is the first Angel to die this way. No one else has been able to get a hold of the blade in order to do so. The reason for her death is still unknown.
