Name story:

I liked the idea of him being named after Giselle’s love interest in the ballet and not being an ass and really embracing his first name’s meaning like noble because he actually is pretty noble. Althaus I chose to stick with the German theme and it means old house in German.

He is stoic and calm, not the most talkative person. He’s definitely kind, but he’s very quiet and modest about it. He’s also rather private, practical, and a homebody. Albrecht learned tailoring and weaving as an apprentice under his father, a successful merchant in fabric goods.
As part of his education, his father was adamant he learn to fight. His teacher saw a strong potential in him and he spent a lot of time learning to duel and by accident found out he had magical powers.
When Giselle announced she was going to adventure and see the world, he insisted on going with her mostly to protect her and apply his learned skills. Thing is, he’s been in love with her ever since they were kids and played together.
