Ahken al-Sa'a, semi-divine son of a mortal mathematician and one of the twelve Kami of Knowledge, is Koza, Kiji, Norami, Kim and Ryuko's tutor. He's an expert chess player (Though he can rarely best his childhood friend Emrys' skill at the game-) and exceptionally fond of green jasmine tea.

He's also very good at ignoring the fact that Kiji has apparently developed a crush on him.
