Like Marion, Po and Tien Jen, Adamas is one of the mortal servants of Fate, the Incarna of Destiny. Serving as her Eyes, his duty is to study the ever-evolving weave of the tapestry of Creation, watching for any unusual patterns or potentially disruptive issues that might affect the whole. It's a job he takes very seriously... Maybe a little *too* seriously, sometimes. The Hand, The Memory and The Voice of Fate have all been known to call The Eyes a bit of a stick in the mud.
