YoMidi Super Dollfie
YoMidi Super Dollfie is a new type of dolls produced by Volks. They are similar to Chibi or Deformed size illustrations in Japanese anime/manga, which means a YoMidi has a big head on a short/small body. They are called YoMidi because they are released using Volks YoSD bodies.
The heads are the same size as Volks SDC and SDM dolls, and they are interchangeable. MSD 's heads are bigger and therefore not interchangeable, although the MSD bodies are proved to be compatible with the YoMidi heads. YoMidi dolls come with special kip (keep it posed) parts to keep their heads firmly attached to the YoSD bodies without the need of modification.
The YoMidi line started with the release of Cecile, Williams, Reisner and Cyndy's YoMidi versions at Volks Tokyo Bay Cruise in 2013. So far, the YoMidi dolls have been released only as limited editions.
