Whispering Grass

Whispering Grass is a bjd company owned by Ukrainian artist ira_scargeear. Her first release was Manuna Mouse in 2013, and her first human BJD sculpt was her Thomas head in 2014.

In 2024 and 2025, she released her Viburnum female body in 1/4 and 1/3 sizes, both on its own and with her own original head sculpts. Her intention with the body was to address jointing and proportional realism issues she saw in many other company's bodies.

She is also know for her elaborate ethnic and historical doll costuming, with a heavy focus on accuracy and size adaptability.
