Volks released Andre as a Super Dollfie 17 male type, together with his best friend, Lady Oscar, which was released as a shorter SD16 female type. They are main characters from the popular manga/anime series by Ryoko Ikeda, the Rose of Versailles or Versailles no Bara (Japanese title).
