Studio *ANother Secret* discussion part 2

Feb 22, 2026

    1. This is thread part 1 for AnotherSecret discussion.

      Links to AnotherSecret's official sites
AnotherSecret sell their dolls through their Taobao store, and email for international preorders.

      -------------------------------------------------

My hybrid boy on ANS69. (His head is Morolab2 Kaska.) This is a body that ought to be wearing only form-fitting clothes. :whee:

AnotherSecret is teasing pics of ANS71 (the slightly taller successor to ANS69), so I think a preorder for him is coming soon.

    2. He's very shapely! Very nicely styled!

    3. @aihre Ruach does look good in form-fitting clothes. It'll be interesting to see how his personal style evolves compared to Finch :XD:

The pictures of ANS71 on XHS look interesting. It seems there's going to be variations with shoulder joints, ribcage joints and neck joints, but all of the previews have consistently had underbust and waist joints. Good for people who have different preferences in engineering: I dislike underbust-only bodies but a neck joint is a joint too many for me personally (the Granado Fortis is my one exception).

If ANS are on track with the 59 and 61 bodies, hopefully mine will be ready next month and I can finally get a floating head out of the head drawer!

    4. @miffimifster Thanks - shapely is the word :whee:

@castironteapot Can't wait for you to get ANS61 and see how the sculpting compares :3nodding:
Thanks - oh, they'll be very different, and mainly to do with clothing service, honestly. Volks' clothing style for SD17s is not my jam so Finch is likely to end up scrappy and dishevelled and wearing more handmade like all my smaller 1/3s. While Ruach is likely to be more sleek and wear fancier clothes like my 68s... he's actually bigger than them, more like 70-73cm size, and that's quite well-serviced in outfits.

I'm watching the upcoming ANS71 order with interest and I would like to see more. I wonder if you can pick your own configuration for torso, shoulders, and neck? That 4-part torso interests me somewhat, but only if it can be had without a neck joint (I also dislike that type of jointing). All fun to watch! But I'm happy enough with ANS69 for Ruach and am not inclined to look for upgrades.

    6. I was considering the ANS74 body for a future project with a Devotion Doll Bite head, but I was a bit iffy about the neck circumference. Finding myself wondering if the 71cm body would be a better option, though it's kind of an extreme difference depending on how much I care about scale and bobbleheadedness possibly. I'd need to do a mockup with photos but I don't have XHS so I'm not sure when or how I would be able to access previews of the new body. And I love the ANS74 aesthetic and sculpting so if the 71cm body is too different I may have to look elsewhere...
That reminds me, I still haven't done a mockup with the ANS74 either, I just kind of took someone's word for it that it wouldn't work. I love the sculpting on it a lot and legit was considering trying to save up for it and a Bite at the end of the year anyway (because that's how long it would take to save enough to even consider the possibility of spending that much) and if the Bite head needed a different body I could use the ANS74 for another character made up specifically for it... but that's kind of a fool's plan in that I really don't need another large doll besides my original project... so I really shouldn't be considering throwing money at a body I don't know will work. But the ANS74 sculpting and example poses in the photos would be so perfect for my Big Dabi...

    7. @Cattya 70s and 75s, despite their similar heights, are often different in scaling, and this could very well apply to the ANS71 and 74 – 75s are closer to a 1/2.5 as opposed to 1/3 scale and often have larger necks and much wider shoulders.

This is a YMMV situation: I prefer larger-headed dolls, so a while an ID75 with a 9-10" head looks fine to me, an 8" head on a big 75cm body is too "pin-headed" for my personal tastes.

The ANS71 has less pronounced "dehydrated rope-like muscles" than the very prominent ones on the 74, so while both are clearly the work of the same sculptor and share the "dorito torso" aesthetic, the 71 isn't simply a resize of the 74 and has a slightly less muscular, less veiny look.
I believe Dolcelucedolls is a dealer for ANS; perhaps Dollsphere, Space Studio or other smaller dealers may also carry them (I ordered my 61 direct from Taobao after emailing ANS and asking if they would be happy selling to an international customer that way as the 61 was unavailable on the EN/Taobao Lite app).

Not sure if you'll be able to view them, but here are some links to ANS's in-progress shots of the 71 from XHS:

    8. @Cattya Check out ANS's EN-facing website - they keep it updated and have a lot of info there. Here are dimensions for ANS71 (the previous release, not this upcoming one) and ANS74. Definitely check out the neck circumference and shoulder widths to see if they can fit Devotion Doll Bite. And I agree with castironteapot that both bodies have similar silhouette but the sculpting detail is quite different - ANS74 has a lot more muscle and vein detailing than ANS71.

@castironteapot That's interesting to see that Dolce Luce Dolls is a dealer, since ANS has mentioned on both CN and EN sides that they do not sell through dealers, only directly, because of recasting - here's their announcement on their website. Maybe ANS hasn't updated their position yet? Perhaps folks can clarify this before ordering?

    9. @aihre That is curious about the dealer situation. It seems ANS last updated that part of the website in 2023 and did say they "may later change the way they sell their products". Perhaps it simply wasn't updated? They said on their IG announcement post for the 59/61/Caroline preorder that they "had international agents".
I believe they did share a recent IG story of Dolceluce's new account saying customers could order through that dealer – someone please correct me if I'm mistaken – and did a collaboration post with Space Studio for Wu Jiu Zi, so it seems they have decided to use some EN-facing dealers again.

Edit: Dolceluce is listed as a dealer in the post for the International Preorder 2025 for Snow White, Iris and Qun along with the 59/61/74 bodies, so it seems Space Studio and Dolceluce are authorised dealers.

    10. Okay, I see ANS's announcements where they list Dolce Luce as a dealer, but I haven't found where they list Space Studio. (I did find Space Studio's promos of ANS dolls on IG.) Good to know that they officially recognize Dolce Luce at least. Still might be worth checking in with ANS to confirm which dealers/agents they're using, whenever they hold a preorder.

    11. Dolce Luce was very recently mentioned in ANS official instagram story as an official dealer for them (since she had to create a new account). They also collaborated on posts before. I had used Dolce Luce during the 2025 international preorder. As for Spacestudio I haven't seen any mentions of them as dealers or any offers on their site. Dollsphere had Snowwhite and the ANS59 for offer, but nothing else. So as for Spacestudio and Dollsphere I would check with ANS directly too.

    12. (This won't help those who'd like news from the most recent ANS dolls)

I think I didn't show my ANS Mr. Rabbit on ANS thread. Shame on me! But here is he (yes he is a he):

Mr Rabbit is from 2011 I think? So he is 15 years this year, OMG :sweat (but I didn't own him all those 15 years. I bought one back then and sold him in 2018 I think, then I made a trade for this one one or two years ago). Mine is on a Luts Delf body.

    13. Sorry for the delay in replying; I haven't been as active in checking DoA as I used to be, and despite getting the email of these posts, I didn't get around to looking closely until now!

I could view the XHS link for about 4 seconds before it redirected me to a login page, but the new ANS71 is very good looking, aesthetically! Definitely not the beefcake dorito look of the 74, though ngl depending on my interpretation of the character I'm shelling, either could work, it's just a matter of what scale would work best, if Bite isn't in between. I mainly got interested in the ANS74 because several of the official pics had it holding poses that are very much in character with the version of Dabi I'm hoping to shell with the Bite SP (specifically, the near-immediately-post-Dabi's Dance version, if you know BNHA) and I'd love a body that could recreate those poses tbh.

The Bite SP head is listed as 23cm plus or minus half a cm, and the Qun head that is listed with the ANS74 on Spacestudio is 22cm head circumference wise, but the Bite's neck circumference is only 12cm(plus or minus 0.3cm) while the ANS74 is listed as 12.5-13cm. I'm not sure how to visualize how they'd look together, the measurements are close but not perfect, and I'm still tempted to say to hell with it and save up for both for the sake of trying and reselling if it doesn't work out... but again, that would be a lot of money to spend on a gamble (unless I end up with two dolls, using the head for one and the body for the other lol... if the ANS74 isn't for Dabi though idk who else I would use it for... but I admit it is definitely eye candy... I also don't need multiple dolls that big though, my Shigadolly is 68cm and already a decent size, though he's long not bulky... but I ramble)

I think I'll have to photobash it sometime when I'm more awake, though I'm out of practice with that sort of thing. Math. Bleh.

@Follow-the-Wind your Mr. Rabbit is GORGEOUS!! I love the tattoos especially, did you do them or commission them or were they part of the default faceup?

    14. Thank you very much @Cattya ! I did the faceup ^_^
