My problem is I have an order with them from before the English site did not work, and I can't check its status like this.

 

Hi guys! My Spiritdoll NS Proud v1 body arrived this week. I took a resin comparison photo with my Volks, Luts and Maskcat headcaps. I'm expecting a WS Holly in a couple of months as well, so I can take another photo of everything then if that interests anyone!

IRL I'd say that the Luts is slightly paler and more yellow, the Maskcat is slightly pinker, and the Volks (which is a little yellowed) is a bit darker and more yellow.

Hello I want to ask: does anyone here own a recent spiritdoll in tan skin?
I consider buying one but it's hard to decide if you have no clue how it looks like

So, please, is there any known way to directly contact them or are they now exclusively dealing only with their dealer reps and not communicating to people with standing orders? I need to find out if I still have an order with them...
Edit: Welp I found my order number but no record I ever was asked for the payment on it so I guess I do not have an order with them.

 

@Rosslyn - do you have any of your order specifics such as confirmation/order number/etc? If you do, I imagine a dealer could reach out to SD with the information to make inquiries (and also let them know that people have been trying to reach them via the email provided on their contact us page on English-facing site). I recommend reaching out to Christina at NewClover Singing, I think she would be able to help (and is very friendly).

 

Did you pay via Paypal? if so, it should be in your account history even if you don't have an email receipt.

 

yes that's why I assume they never got back to me with a paypal invoice to get payment. It's not in there.

 

So I found a cowboy hat for dogs and spent part of the morning fixing it up for my Celtis. XD Its so cute.

 

Could anyone with a Proud body please show me his posture from the side view? I have a character who would never stand with a forward head, and I am trying to work out of the Proud body can stand up straight or if the neck tilts forward, please.
*Edit to clarify: I have seen side on pics of the Version 1, and he has a marked forward head/neck posture, so I am wondering if the Version 2 has the same problem, if you can please help.

Hi guys! I forgot to post my unboxing video here, but my Spiritdoll Elegance Holly in WS with the super resin arrived last week.

I loooooooove him so much, the super resin is quite nice and smooth to the touch, with a lovely glow. And my boy has such a sweet and vulnerable expression. The body poses very comfortably, I'm overall very happy with my order.

Can anyone directly ordering from them confirm the amount of time from order to delivery? I don't care (as much) about the length of time, I just want to make sure they are still sending out orders if that makes sense.

 

I'm no help there. The last couple of orders I've made from Spirit were done through Legend Doll rather than direct orders.

 

It was quite a while ago when my Winter (SpiritDoll Proud The Mad Hatter) arrived, but I remember it was an insanely long time with not contact from the seller. It was a direct order from the Spirit Doll website back then. Their way of conducting business has always been strange. They actively release dolls, take orders, then disappear after the order is placed... but the dolls arrive and they are superb in artistry and craftmanship. Yet, it is stressful to order from them, because it is almost impossible to reach them via any communication channel. It seems this hasn't changed much. My point is, that don't be surprised if it takes 3-6 months for a doll to arrive.

 

I’ve always ordered directly through their Taobao and because of the size of my last order (which, if I understood correctly exceeded the price and size to use Taobao’s own consolidation services to ship to the USA) AND was expensive enough on my end Id rather have a Chinese speaker in the mix, I used an agent. I think their Chinese communication may be more reliable and I’ve heard that they ship faster through Taobao (my orders through there have generally shipped in less than 3 months if I’m remembering correctly). My last order was two years ago for reference

 

Have I missed some news or is Spiritdoll gone? I cannot access to their site anymore, and I'm afraid they closed ?_?

 

Spiritdoll currently has a problem with English communications. They are still in business and you can order through Legend.

I like very big dolls (although I don’t own any 1/1 scale ones) and I’ve recently been fascinated by Spiritdoll Catalina- 125 cm!

I don’t see her on the Spiritdoll website or their Legenddoll site; just on the Dolk site for some reason. She’s a bit taller than a Dollmore Trinity doll, and costs around the same amount, although it looks like she doesn’t come with a wig or outfit like the Trinitys do. (Her price is also totally different on the Japanese version of Dolk for some reason… it’s like $3000 in yen vs around $2000 on the US site? I don’t know why that is.)

Anyway I REALLY need to move to a larger apartment before I even contemplate getting her, I have no doll space left as it is

 

it looks like she’s on the ConariumDoll body. I believe the same sculptor who made the SpiritDoll Dolce made the Conarium body and Lilith and Eve heads

I just discovered the Catalina girl. I'm in love. The really big girls are such a unique presence to have around.

I wonder if you can order her through Clover Singing? I only see Dolk with her listed.

I recently discovered spirit doll's delicate line but I can't find any photos of Convallaria and vendela other than the ones on spirit doll's website.
Any owners of these models who can share photos?

Something I've wanted to ask... Does anyone know if there are extra hands and feet parts for the female Proud body, or do Proud girls only come with solid heel legs? I saw that older Proud bodies have mobility thighs, but they don't show anything like that in the current website's pictures. Are the knees a hidden peanut double joint or are they single-jointed? How do they pose generally? The images on the website aren't very clear and almost all sections of it are broken.

 

It sounds like I need to just strip my trio and take some completely bare pictures of them for you, Lutke... Spirit's own photos have never been very detailed for either bod type.

My girls all came with both the regular, jointed lower legs and the high-heeled solid version, though I don't remember now if that was a standard thing or if I had to add them to the order as an option. (It's been awhile since I ordered them-) I'll see if I can find my order forms from Legend. That's an easy way to find out. I don't recall there being extra hand options, but I haven't specifically gone looking for them, either.

Generally, they pose as well as my Volks SD16s do. While they're better than, say, an old CP/Delf or an Iple EID I wouldn't call their engineering anything really astounding. They're pretty bog-standard in that department.

 

@Brightfires Knowing that there is a jointed ankle I can order is already a relief. I am very happy that they don't do a chest cut right under the breasts but along the ribcage instead. It's a way better joint that way. But they ditched the mobility thigh I suppose?

 

Yep. The second-generation bod doesn't have a thigh mobility joint... Honestly, I'm not sure all of the the first gen bodies do, either. That may have changed somewhere along the line.

In any case, looking at the order details for my girls (My Olea was ordered directly from Spirit, while the Windflower and Meng Po were ordered through Legend-), I apparently didn't add optional legs for them, so both the jointed version and the high-heel lower leg parts would have come with them as a standard part of the full doll order.

 

I'm getting snowdrop (at some point I'm broke rn) I'm wondering if anyone has a resin comparison to dollzone? I know I like their bodies (dz's) so its a strong consideration for me to get the snowdrop head and a dz body. But I can't find a comparison for this. I may have missed it so please link me if you know of one. I'm more looking for a dz normal pink comp, as that's what I have already though I don't know dz changed the name or the color itself as I don't see "normal pink" as an option on acbjd anymore.

 

One day, Dolly Gods willing, I will bring home one of the 49cm Conarium boys.
