North America Sakuracon 2026 (Seattle, WA)

      Is anyone planning on attending (or ghosting) Sakuracon at the end of the month? My bestie and I were planning on meeting up for doller activities at the con this year on Saturday the 30th or Sunday the 31st (or both?!)

      If someone without a badge would like to come, there should be a few places within the convention center that are public access. It's been 8 years since my last sakuracon, so someone will have to confirm those areas are still free to use.

      If you'd like to join us (or know of an already planned meetup), please let me know! :3nodding:

    2. There is a meetup planned! It is hosted by someone from the Pacific Northwest BJD Discord.
      Here's the info copied from the event description: "Saturday afternoon 1pm-2pm meet on the second floor of the main convention building behind the escalators there is a more private area with tables and chairs. The theme is Sakura Pink! Wear pinks, whites, and spring flowers!"
      In the past this area ("international meeting place" on some maps) has been accessible without a pass but I don't know the current setup. :celebrate

    5. Thought I'd post here that folks on the PNW BJD discord seem to be planning a meetup at Sakuracon this year. Here's the time and location info copied from the discord: "Saturday at 1pm at the same location as last year, the sitting area by the juicy cafe".

      I'm not the host (Raedesu on discord is) and won't be able to attend, but hope everyone has a fun con! ☺️
