Miracle Doll Waiting Room

I'm in canada, so EMS was fulfilled via CanadaPost, and it was alright. I waited two weeks to receive my doll, which would have been faster via UPS (Around 5 days) or DHL (Around 3 days). There was no box-damage, or anything that would make for a negative experience, it was just a little slower than other services would have been.

 

That's good to hear! I'm glad your doll (s) arrived safely.
Waiting isn't much of an issue for me, I may get really antsy or annoying about it, but I know I'll get them sooner or later.

I work nearly everyday so the weeks pass quickly.

I saw on previous pages of this waiting room that Miracle doll has longer wait times, or they did due to the pandemic.

Is that still the case?

 

It really depends on who you order from. I had a 5 month wait for my body in 2022, from New Clover Singing. I think Alice's Collectiosn is a similar wait, because they're also in china. If you order through the American dealer, BJDivas, the arrivals are a lot later, because I believe MD ships the dolls to them by ocean, so there is a significantly longer wait. Ordering via Alice's should shorten some of the wait IMO.

 

Both the dolls I've ordered from Alice's have come FedEx; my last one arrived in April. When I started my most recent layaway with them, I was given an option to choose a shipping option between airmail and express shipping, which is what my two dolls were listed as being shipped by. I just started that layaway last month, and I might've been given an option to choose because it's just a head as opposed to the full doll (and airmail was free, so that's what I chose).

I emailed Alice's a few minutes ago about another layaway with a 68cm boy body ver. 3 in normal pink and 78cm slim boy body in white.

Edit; A 6 month layaway was set up— Now I have 4 dolls on the way. ^^'

 

Has anyone here own a Morgan/Magee head? I am still on the fence about these head sculpts from Miracle doll.

I haven't been able to find a good photo of either of them from the front, just Hilary.

 

My body shipped! FedEx too, so it should be fairly quick. All fingers crossed that the color match is decent.

 

And he's here and I'm so incredibly disappointed I want to cry. They've changed the tan resin. I can't believe they made me pay $80 extra for a normal skin tone. Could this be the light tan? I don't know if I should email ACBJD or not...

I don't even begin to know what colors to dye the body to match his head...

Little update:

So I'm finally on my second to last layaway payment on my two doll order!
I decided to email Alice for an update, and they said it'll be another two months for the dolls to be made.

Honestly, not even that bad.

I cannot for the life of me remember the last few months. It's all a blur.
I ordered these two dolls last year in December, it's been 17 weeks.
What's another 8 weeks to hopefully ship?

I'm really excited.

 

MiracleDoll said they needed 20 days more to finish up my two dolls! )

Which will be June 14, and then,, idk 6 more days for shipping? Maybe 10.

I just ordered a Beast head in grey resin through Dolk BJD. My mistake was not reading the Miracle Doll Waiting Room thread before doing so. It looks like I'm in for a considerable wait...

 

I just ordered an Ian from NCS, he's going to be one of my absolute favorite anime characters, and I was told Miracledoll wait times are about 5 months so I'll see how accurate that is when it gets to that point.

He was kind of impulsively sort of a birthday present to myself, I was already planning to get him but at this point I decided not to wait. I love the look so much and I'm excited to bring home my lil "Shigadolly" lol.

Though I am under the impression that 68cm dolls are very much NOT little- my tallest dolls are either some off topic 1/3 size vinyls or my older Ringdoll Spencer, so Shigs might end up being huge, but I don't really mind. I guess the only issue would be the difficulty of restringing... I should probably be rambling about this in the discussion thread not the waiting room, though.


EDIT: 4 days after ordering and I am NOT handling the wait well... I want him home

 

My MiracleDoll order will hit the 7-month wait in the next three days!

The last few weeks or months of waiting for a doll is always the hardest — I just want my Miracle boys.

 

I understand completely. I recall waiting for over a year for my Dollshe Saint, and almost as long for a Customhouse Yeondu. Sometimes it feels like forever.

 

That sounds like hell.. but fitting for Dollshe. I'm happy I was to broke at the time of finding that company—

The longest ive ever waited was 10 months, for my first doll, but it was peak pandemic.

Originally I got a shop notification, it's waiting for details so idk what this is.

I've ordered a few things since (lol) bit nothing is fitting this order, and then, just now Alice sent me the notification.

I'm so sorry to hear you had this experience. Miracledoll has one of the worst tans I've ever seen (in my personal experience). I had ordered my 68cm Muscle Girl in Tan as well and received a very similar normal skin tone. I've literally never seen anything like it among any other company.

Apparently I didn't learn my lesson because I ordered my new 76cm Muscle Girl in 'dark' tan. So let's see if they've improved at all.

 

A very muscular tiger lady made it home today! Unfortunately she came home with two broken fingernails (one on each hand). I will contact Alice's Collections and see if Miracle Doll will cast me replacement hands. I am still waiting on replacement lower leg pieces for my previous Miracle Doll muscular lady, Zhi Shen, which still have not been shipped to me.

 

Shes beautiful!!! I'm glad you finally received her but I'm sorry to hear about the hands. I hope they get them to you ASAP.

For the kind of wait time MiracleDoll expects from us it's literally the least they can do

 

I got my 65 cm supermodel body today! I was really surprised at how quick it was. I thought it was going to take 6 months at least, so I was surprised to get the notification for shipping. The body is perfect and the color match is near perfect as well. The only thing that needs to be done is that I need to restring it since the tension is waaay to tight and I can't even take the S hook off.

 

Just got notice my 76cm Muscle Girl shipped out!!!! I'll definitely be posting photos on arrival. Especially to compare the Tan vs Dark Tan.

My 68cm Muscle Girl was in the standard tan color and she read very much like a normal skin tone. Hoping to see a difference between the two

 

At long last here we are guys! 9 months later and my dark tan girl looks like a tawny, let's goooooo!

Honestly I was expecting this. MDs tans have always been a big complaint for me. The top one is the 68cm Muscle Girl in 'light tan' (2022) and the bottom one is the 76cm Leopard Girl in 'dark tan' (2024).

 

She arrived intact without any breakage thankfully!!!! But I'm not so sure about how secure the new packaging is.





Out of her bag she came definitely out of sorts. Joints moved around, feet twisted.




The knees on this girl are a big weak point for me. They don't even align properly- for a 'very' expensive doll body that really irks me.

On the positive side she did come with heeled feet!!! I didn't know she would so that was nice.

 

I received my Lion Head!

 

I've finally ordered a 45cm Muscle Girl Body (Human version) for my current doll project.
It'll need to be dyed after it arrives to match what I have in mind, but I'm so excited ^w^

 

I emailed Christina a week ago about an update on my Ian I ordered in July (so, we're still within that 7 month window) but unfortunately she has not gotten a response from Miracledoll yet (I was a bit confused about the email wording but I checked with some people on the BJD Discord and it's all good), I'm getting antsy but I'm not too worried about him not getting here, I have to admit I am a bit worried about the cost of him getting here increasing sometime after January 20th for... certain reasons, so I'm a bit antsy, but I don't want to bother Christina or Miracledoll about it since it is still within the allotted timeframe. I don't want to nag anyone... but I am still very excited to bring my Shigs home... I have another doll to work on in the meantime, though, so again not having him here is not too troubling other than the possible tariff issue.

I'm a bit nervous about where I'll put him, since the shelf I was gonna have my big dolls sit is too short even for my 63cm doll, so I may be adjusting the shelf height to accommodate taller dolls like Shigadolly.

Anyways, hope everyone gets their dollies quick and don't mind my little ramble-

I ordered two Miracle Doll heads almost four years ago in May 2021, and I request status updates every now and then. They claimed the heads had been sent to them in January 2023.

I'm so tired of this.

That's absolutely absurd, I'm so sorry to hear that. I really hope you get your refund or your items, because at this point it's theft.

 

Oh goodness, I am SO sorry to hear this, regardless of the company, that is just a ridiculous amount of time.

 

Good news, they said they're willing to refund! Crossing my fingers for a quick resolution, looks like the fox sculpt is in stock at Alice's so I might not be totally out of luck!

 

Hey! My 1/4 Muscle Girl Body Human Ver. has finally been shipped!
Had some trouble with Yoybuy on the matter because the service fee and shipping was way over what I expected. I should've ordered it through Alice as I usually do, but I guess I've learnt my lesson.
Just hope it doesn't get plagued by customs too when it arrives. Wish me luck!

 

Wow! That’s decently fast for Miracledoll! I’m hoping my body from a month later ships soon through AC. I just had to email them asking about shipping times for a different doll, and I figured I’d check on this order too!

 

forgot to update here, ordered a 68cm v3 body in grey back in feb and am chomping at the bit although I know I have some more time to wait....maybe soon from what Yami's experience was?

 

When I asked AC, they told me my body from about 5 days earlier would be ready in September-ish. I’m hoping for sooner than that, personally, but I’m prepared to wait until September if I’ve got to!!

 

They told me September too ToT. I hope it's early September, faceup slots with my fav artist hard close mid Nov and I need full body blush

 

so i looked thru the last 5 pages of this thread and it seems like Miracle Doll wait times have been varying a lot over the last few years-- can anybody tell me what they've been like more recently? i ordered a Zhi Shen head in gray resin thru Alice's Collections tonight. i'm really not in any particular rush, she can get here when she gets here-- but i am curious what i should expect as the norm for this dollmaker.

 

Cries my body ordered Feb 15th just got pushed out until November......just asked the dealer (Alice's)

Ohhhh that sucks! I also ordered a body from them in february, and AC told me to probably expect it in September a few months ago--I bet I'm also delayed. Which body are you waiting on?

 

ok so i am getting the impression the wait times for Miracle Doll are just long even thru a good dealer like AC? if everyone in here who ordered in February is being told November then i should probably expect something like May 2026 for a head i ordered in mid-August...

 

Yes, MD just takes a while. I got the 68cm muscle body from them a few years back, and I think it took 6-8 months, through new clover singing. Through Divas, I’ve heard of them taking multiple years, but through a good dealer like AC, they’re 6-8

thanks! i went thru AC, so 6-8 it is. i'm completely new to Miracledoll, so had no idea what to expect. on the upside, if it's going to be that far out i can at least have hope that the current mess with shipping to the US will be sorted by the time my head is ready! plus i have other projects to keep me plenty busy while i wait

I placed a paid-in-full order for a 76cm Leopard Ling in June 2024 and was told it may be a two year wait by a dealer that isn't AC. I was told one year was expected when I placed the order, so that update was... quite an unpleasant surprise. I wasn't prepared for that kind of wait time.

Given the current tariff situation, however, I'm not eager to see it ship until things get at least somewhat stable.

Oh wow that's a huge wait, I was wondering why I hadn't seen anyone post about the Leopard Ling yet but if the wait times are that long I can see why! Can I ask where you're buying from? I'm looking at BJdivas and I want to split into a long layaway so may as well make it as long as possible if I'll be waiting anyway x)

 

The only dealer that I’ve heard of having remotely close to 2 year waits is divas!! I’ve seen pictures of the 76 cm body on the Devotiondoll thread, being compared to the DD body, so some of them definitely have been shipped

 

@howlberry divas waits are always significantly longer than any other dealer. i went thru divas three times, each time for a doll from a different company--- and each time the wait was much, much longer than ordering from the same company either direct or thru a different dealer. (example: i ordered an impldoll body thru Divas and it took a full year. i ordered an impldoll body thru Alices Collections and it took two months. i ordered a full limited doll direct from impldoll and it took 5 months.) my fastest and best results are consistently from ordering thru Alices Collections, so now i order thru them if at all possible or just go direct for any maker they don't carry.

 

There’s a Leopard Ling with pics shared only a few posts above, so some have arrived and been shared here.

I didn’t want to name where I ordered from but the posters above guessed correctly. Given some previous drama on this forum I didn’t want to say anything negative.

Had I known about the very long delays and had the dealer been honest about the wait times, I would have gone with a different dealer.

 

Doll got! It's a really nice body, came strung perfectly with kips and everything. Rock solid stander. Been dip dyeing the limbs and now time to send off to the artist T.T
