~20cm Dolls Luts Zuzu Delf Fenny

Fenny was one of the very first dolls I discovered when I started the hobby around ten years ago (potentially even the first doll!). I've always thought she was such a little darling, though none of my doll plans involved a fully anthropomorphic character, I did find a old description of my characters from 2019 that involved one of them having a little fox doll, and I wonder if I was thinking of Fenny then!

When I saw her listed in the Luts discontinuation sale, I knew I had to get her before it was too late!

I brought out Marche, to come give her a good welcome!

The Zuzu Delf box is so small and cute. I already had a dress for her from Legend Doll that I ordered in Blythe size (as recommended on the Zuzu Delf thread), so I had an idea of how big she would be, but seeing how small she must have been to fit in the box was so different!



Taking her out of the box, I was surprised at how well she held her poses! This is the Type 3 body (long body), and the engineering is wonderful.

Her eye wells were much bigger than I was expecting. Fortunately, I mistakenly ordered a huge pair of urethane eyes with tiny irises (instead of big irises) for one of my big babies last year. These eyes fit very nicely into her eye wells, and the pupil looked perfect.

I ordered her without a face-up as I'm intending to learn how to do face-ups and do hers myself. I didn't like how in the Luts promo photos, it looked like she had a lot of make-up on. I would quite like a simple face on her.

The Blythe dress fits this Type 3 body rather well, though it was a bit snug at the back! I think if I had gone with one of the shorter bodies, it would have been a bit long.
