Luts has a small collection of outfits made for mdf and I believe that sadol should also have some, and they come out with outfit preorders now and then so i recommend keeping an eye out on their site. I only have the girl mdf bodies and I find that it's not too bad to find msd clothes that fit, most fit pretty good you mainly have to pay attention to hip and waist size but i think the influx of 45+ msd dolls, especially from chinese artists, has made clothing shopping not as difficult as before, i would keep a look out for clothing preorders from spacestudio, dollsphere, newcloversinging etc and check on the size measurements of "big 4" options if they are available. The main issue might be the size of collars and buttons compared to the mdf heads

 

Thank you so much for all the information! I saw a few outfits for preorder on Sadol that look perfect for what I had in mind aesthetically, and I'll see what works from my MSD wardrobe when mine comes in!!

 

@urahara I have luck with Pants by Bear and rRabbit. and of course from Luts itself. For tops most clothes are ok. I haven't buy any new clothes for mdf, but from places like Tata's, Alice Collection pants, they won't even pass his thigh.

 

Amazing to know, I have some trousers from Bears, so my guy will have at least something to wear in the meantime! I'll check out rRabbit, too!

Update - I got him today and unfortunately, none of the MSD-sized trousers from Bears fits, it goes up the legs perfectly, but they don't close (hook and loop enclosure)! Beautiful doll, though, I'll still figure it out!

 

I'm not even close to do any order, but I'm in the process of downscaling sizewise to MDF size. I feel it would be in the best interest of my future self to have more smaller dolls in my collection than I have larger ones. I'm getting at that age now where I've been feeling the need for some changes.

Most likely I will get Bliss because of my SDF65 Sweety Bliss, this sculpt is very special to me. But I've also long really loved the SDF Muse Jean sculpt, so I'm wondering if any of the male MDF sculpts could work as something similar to Jean?

I have tried to check out the MDFs myself, but I am bad at seeing what couled potentially work.

Luts is retiring so many cool sculpts. MDF Lapis has been on my wishlist for a long time so I've ordered him on the type 2 body.

There's just one day left in case anyone isn't aware (17 Model Delf heads are on the chopping block).
