Theme Interesting finds our dolls can use!

Oh I love finding cute things at Dollar Tree for my dolls! Pictured below are:

• From Dollar Tree: hamper (pencil cup), comforter (baby blanket), mini hair clip
• From Target: side table, Our Generation nail art set
• Backpack is a Real Littles Micro Backpack, which came with mini school supplies, including the notebook pictured.

Editing because Lilly my Dollzone BB (Yo-SD size) found my Real Little diary that comes with some stationary. The backpacks and handbags are about the same size as the book. If you look online it's pretty predictable what's inside. Or you get X amount of Y selection.

Between Real Littles and Zuru 5 Surprise (the segmented balls) there's all sorts of doll sized goodies.

Real Littles bags also come in Disney themes with stationary.

 

A company called Smart Lab has science and baking things that are doll sized. This picture comes form Office Depot in the US.

 

I got this baby toy for my Moluccan Cockatoos, because they love to stack things.


Turns out those rings are hollow, lightweight plastic, and they work beautifully as pool floats for dolls. The bonus is that because they are hollow, if you are doing photo-shoots in/near the water, they actually do float. I didn't try them floating in the water with a doll on them, but the bigger ones should support an MSD.

 

Good idea. Different sizes too for different size dolls. I use the floating coasters for drinks for my dolls.

 

Be careful with the rings, some have a hole where the plastic seams meet and will take on water.

 

I found these at my local Daiso (Japanese variety store) today - they're flower pot stands in the gardening section, but are perfectly sized seating and small coffee table for 1/3-sized dolls. My dolls are 57cm and 62cm tall.

The short rectangular table is probably the right height for a 1/4 mini to sit on, and maybe works as a 1/6-sized table.

The mats underneath them are table mats, also from Daiso.

I also scored this amazing doll-sized bench / day bed off local (online) classified listings, a while ago. It's made of sturdy wood and well finished. I've since made cushions for it. It's pretty roomy for 3... time to buy a few more dolls to fill up the bench.

I found this MSD sized loft bed pretending to be a desk organizer! I can't wait to use it for my dolls

I look forward to user pictures of that, looks like my MSDs and their tiny kids could bunk in it.

 

Maybe a bit of a niche item/prop but I've been seeing these mini bathtubs at Michaels craft store for literal years and I've always thought they'd work really well for dolls. I'm actually not really sure what they're intended for as they're a bit large for something like a tabletop decor. Maybe for plants?



There's smaller ones that could fit tinies and bigger ones that could fit 1/4 or maybe even 1/3 dolls. Not perfectly in proportion of course but definitely workable! I think the retro/vintage tub style is cute.

Idk what size the one I linked works best for but if you have a Michaels store near you (US or Canada), it's much easier to tell the scale of the various tub sizes in person. They seem to return to stock randomly. I saw some very recently (within last two weeks), and the oldest time I saw one was at least two years ago, so they do seem like a mainstay item!

Oct 2025 since these things might be limited- One of the latest offerings from Miniverse surprise balls is a fragrances line, point being the bottles, droppers, and what not look to be a good size for BJDs. I can see Yo-SD and MSD comfortably holding them.

 

Five Below has these keychains that are really doll size purses with easy to detach hardware. Also comes in pink and light blue, iirc.

 

I was at my local Muji store, and found this mini version of their full human-sized tote bag - it works perfectly for my 1/3 dolls.

 

That reminds me that I've seen what look to be doll sized totes that have a regular sized one zipped inside.
