Hi there! I am Quenthel, and I am based in the Republic of Ireland. I have been in the hobby since 2011. I always loved doing face-ups, and now that I had a bit of free time, I decided to try my hand at commissions. Natural face-ups are my speciality, but I also do fantasy face-ups, removable scars, beards, and tattoos.

Over my long time in the hobby, I have also bought quite a few broken and well-played dolls that I have restored. If your doll needs restoration, I am your person!

Depending on how many commissions I will get to do, a face-up will take around 1-2 weeks, not counting shipping time. I am always trying to start working ASAP!​

MATERIALS I USE

Mungyo pastels
PanPastels
Ferrario pastels
Derwent pencils
Perlex shimmer powder
Tamiya gloss
Mr. Super Clear matte UvCoat

Isopropyl Alcohol (to clean old face up and/or dust and dirt, and also de-oil the surface)
Magic Sponge if your doll needs some thorough cleaning
Warm soapy water if the doll is in need of good, deep cleaning and restringing.

PRICES:

Natural face-up (with freckles)
SD-MSD - €80
Smaller dolls-€60

More complicated face-up (fantasy or facial hair):

SD-MSD €90
Smaller dolls - €70

Glued-on facial hair (natural alpaca/artificial mohair):

Small moustache: €40
Full-face beard: €80
Long beard: €100-120, depending on the length
Ling beard with braids/beads/metal accessories: €150

Tattoos:
Starting at €20, depending on how big and complicated it is.

Scars (non-permanent):

Starting at €10 on a face depends on the amount and complexity.
Starting at €50 on the body, depending on complexity and the size

Mods:

Starting with €30 depends on the amount and complexity

Body blush:

Manicure and pedicure: €30
Only manicure (or only pedicure) - €20
SD - €70
MSD - €60
Yo-SD - €50
Smaller dolls - €30
Two coats of MSC on the torso + nipples - €30
Body hair - starting at €20 depends on the amount

Restringing/cleaning/washing:

With my string - €30 any size
With your string - €20 any size

SHIPPING:

The client pays for shipping to me and then back home! You can choose different options, and we can settle on whatever is most comfortable for both of us. I am not responsible for lost mail items!

PAYMENT:

I ask for a 50% non-refundable payment upfront, with the rest due after I finish the job and it is approved.
I don't charge any additional fees, but the price for the job done + shipping both ways!

If you aren't satisfied with the face-up, I will redo it once for free. For any additional redrawings, I charge 50% of the time-and-materials cost.

You can send me pictures of other dolls as a reference, but I will not copy them! Only as inspiration and a general reference.

I have eyelashes, but for now, I only have black eyelashes, so if you need something else, you will need to provide them


What you should send to me:

1. A doll's head ( would be great if you include eyes and a wig so I could colour/tone match)
2. Face shield if you want a doll with eyelashes attached
3. Eyelashes, if you want to provide them

Please make sure the doll is properly packaged! I am not responsible for any breakage that occurs during shipping to me. I take responsibility only for the proper package from me to you!
If I need to repackage the doll that is not securely packaged, I will charge an additional €10

If you require mods, make sure you understand that if the doll is older and yellowed/changed colour, there will be visible spots where the sandpaper touched the resin.

I only work with resin BJDs!
