I recommend ordering during the promotion, if you can. DV's turnaround time tends to be faster.

New A heads up that Dream Valley is currently re-releasing past limited dolls, and a bunch of 1/4 dolls are on the cards. The notice is on Rednote/XHS and Weibo.

All of the re-releases are 1/4 dolls except Apocalypse Horseman. There was a popularity vote for the dolls (held on CN social media), and DV will be releasing all of them in the order of voting, which was:

1. Ghost-face Moth ~ White Moss
2. Twin Birds ~ Milien & Esther
3. Collector in the Attic ~ Maurren
4. Quetzalcoatl ~ Ehecatl
5. Deer in the Woods ~ Fawna & Cedar
6. Apocalypse ~ Black Horseman

As of writing, Ghost Moth is up for order and her preorder duration is one week. (Legenddoll and Alice's Collections posted this in BJD News.) Not sure yet how DV will be timing these re-releases, but I suspect the timing could be close together and the duration for each re-release will last one week. I guess we'll find out the pattern when Ghost Moth closes and the next one opens.

Anyway, just a heads up that if you wanted past dolls, this is your chance to get them from DV. Don't know when the later preorders start, so keep some money aside and keep an eye on news.

New Thanks for the heads up! Sadly I don't think I'll be able to get any this time around. Though I'm sorely tempted to get a blank Fawna. Maybe one day I'll have a character for the 'harpy' until then they go on the dream wish list. X3

 

New Thank you for the warning, I'm so excited for the chance to nab the Horseman! Really hope he'll come with his unique resin color, it's probably half of why I love his design so much and I feel he'd be less striking without it. I'm too new to the BJD scene in general to know for sure if it was ever used for anything other than him, but I haven't seen any other DV releases in that specific shade since I started collecting their work. Which is a shame because it would look so good on...well, everything

If that color isn't available, I might be able to resist, but if it is... I'm probably in trouble.

 

New I have a serious weakness for coloured resin. In particular, I'm really drawn to grey and black. But I've also got red, multiple grey, multiple purple (1 is a DV), multiple green, multiple blue and multiple tan and black (cast, dyed & 3D printed). I think I'm safe from a purchase just because of no dolly cash and upcoming events but I can't say it's a for sure no purchase.

New Thanks for the heads up! I saw the re-release for the moth and thought ‘oh that makes sense she was super popular’ but I’m glad to hear they are doing more. I missed my chance to order Cedar and I was never able to find him in stock on any sites. I would love the moth but as I’m still waiting for some dolls to come in, I don’t have the extra cash to splash. I hope Cedar doesn’t come back too quickly or I might have to miss him again.

I should have my bat maid in the next few months with how quickly DV is pushing stuff out. Man I can’t wait.
