Oh Krystina! He looks wonderful! Bbjorn is such a beautiful sculpt. I really like the natural color palette your artist chose.

 

I hope to start sewing for Leviathan soon. I've been bouncing all over the place with projects. Mother nature just came back with one final 32c+ heatwave for the year so I've been avoiding my machines and anything that makes the room hot. So for now it looks like my Elif, and Azelia boy are getting new jewelry. Mostly my Elif, since I'm doing large chunky things right now and he's on that huge Dollstown body. Even though what I should be doing is making him his wig. But I couldn't resist doing something with my stash of bat charms.

Oh wow he's looking so good! I can't wait to see him complete!

How long do you think until he will be home with you again?
God I need to repaint Lloyd! Not sure it's happening or not. We will finally have faceup weather for the year soon. I just have a lot to get to in only very little time...

I thought it was funny earlier that you said you have all the stuff for a club atmosphere for your dolls basically... I have always had ones for that environment too! I just do not do well collecting too much for props and everything. I wish they could go party with yours
It's also so hot here most of the year that we can't add heat in the room... it's always so frustrating! We have a PS4 we basically can only use 2 months a year because it gives off such an astounding amount of heat. What an absolute waste. I hope your heatwave passes soon and then it's fall at last. I am kind of looking forward to winter myself though truly every day living here sucks it's just different ways of sucking. Hopefully we'll get somewhere cooler again soon...

My Elif is a Deathrock boy, so he's getting a big black and red deathhawk. I just ordered wig supplies for him, Azealia and Arno. I should get them in a week or so. I am jealous of the Idaho weather, I am so not productive in the heat. Though today it's raining so hopefully that marks the end of the heat wave.

@AlisonVonderland Thank you! I actually get a massive order of new jewelry supplies today. The tracking says the package is only 45 mins away! I cannot wait to spoil the boys with more.
Haha I am a prop fiend. I love to spoil my dolls with everything I can. It's remembering to take photos of them with the props I'm bad at.
Oh I feel you on that PS4 heat. I'm always amazed by how hot it gets!

Haha I hope so! That's my goal anyway.

I have been absolutely spoiling the boys with jewelry. And my floating Azealia head, Vanir, has suddenly become very vocal in my head. Now I have silver bat wing and skeleton hand hair clips made for him. That I can't wait to shove in his big goth hair. His styling plans took a hard left turn today. I wanted cute velvet and silk suits. Nope, he wants latex and fishnet. Funny how they do that.

I also took Leviathan out for the first time since the pandemic. I missed him so much I could cry. He does need some maintenance though. His stringing is on the way out and he's loose as heck, So I ordered new string for him. I think today I'm going to sew something new for him.

It’s hard to tell which wig looks best on him. They both look great on him.

 

I've finally got the energy and right weather to work on and freshen up my DIM boys. Boy do they need it. My Elif's sealant turned black! You think he'd have been stained by a wig but he doesn't have one. I've spent the entire night removing layers of it and have somehow kept the face up intact.

I've been thinking about DIM a lot lately and been wondering if Denny will ever release those SD heads I put in the request for. I've got that new doll itch.

 

HighPriestessIce, Wow! That sounds awful that his sealant turned black! I would be freaking out if that happened to one of my dolls.

What SD heads did you ask Denny to re-issue?

 

I was freaking out! But I managed to save the face up and get rid of all the black. His new sealant is drying as we speak.
I asked for Galahad, Marcellina and Lalia.

Leviathan is finally getting upgraded from baby's first tattoos (tribal) to something he'd actually like, Lovecraft. I've got 8 so far but I'd like another on his left thigh.

 

Yeah Krystina, I'm done-for too if Denny does any SD heads.

 

I've never heard of sealant doing it either! and I've had my oldest doll for 17 years!

Here's Belphegor all cleaned up, pierced and impatiently waiting for his wig to be finished. I should have probably made him pants today but made him jewelry instead. Lol Priorities.

 

I hit a snag with the doll refresh, my building is still into interrupt all work mode. I can't wait for all these renovations and the construction to be over. I recently got a new job that pays more so I'm now budgeting new bodies for all my floating heads. I think Arno and Azealia are going to be first. I'm planning to start the layaways in August. I want them like now of course, but I'm seeing Limp Bizkit in July so that pay is all tied up haha.

He is a perfect elf boy period! I’m so glad that was his now face it really is amazing the artist did a wonderful job! ❤️

I’ve cut and restyled wigs, you can always do that with the wig he has on. Some wigs can be restyled, washed, cut, curled.


Regarding white skin: I’m not sure, I think most mine are normal, good question, I’m wondering that myself now with all my Dim. I’ll try to get them all together sometime, it’s really not that easy.

 

What bodies currently available would match dim normal? I have 4 heads I never got around to getting bodies for

 

They are from their going out of business sale, have been kept in a box this whole time. No noticeable yellowing to my eyes

 

I love seeing all the recent photos! I'd love to share my Marcellina (who I have as a boy on a Little Monica Harmony body), but I've been desperately struggling to find the right wig for him! I'm trying to find something in a nice burgundy that fits his huge head, but all the styles I like only come in "elmo red"!

I love the wig your BBjorn is wearing! Such a pretty style. Most of my dolls have synthetic fiber wigs, but I've been slowly transitioning my 1/4 girls to mohair because I love how soft it is! I think I'm leaning more towards fiber for Lest, but maybe I'll find a mohair one that calls to me

 

He lived life as a floating head for a bit before he stole another doll's body! The Harmony body is the perfect size for him as he's meant to be about 16, whereas my poor Little Monica Haazel (Yami) was way too short on it with my taller boys!

I do love his lovely red face and ears, so I'm hoping I can find a wig that still shows his ears off nicely! I have such a weakness for elf ears haha

Mohair can definitely be a bit more difficult to care for/manage, whereas all my synthetic fiber wigs (except one Leekeworld one!) tend to look lovely even after just a simple brush!
