We’re looking to get together January 17th in Downtown Glendale/Catlin Court Historic Area (HISTORIC CATLIN COURT DISTRICT). There’s plenty of free parking near the public library, as well as at the restaurants and along the streets in Catlin Court.

There's a ton of cute shops, boutiques, and places to eat in the area, so strolling around the Catlin Court Historic Area and enjoying everything it has to offer is the plan~ You might not want to bring anyone too heavy, but hey, if you wanna weight train, go ahead! We can meet up at the Black Sheep, a coffee and sandwich shop (https://www.theblacksheepaz.com/) for lunch at noon, then head out to the doll museum and wherever else looks fun

The Doll and Toy Museum (only $5 to visit and completely volunteer-run ) would be fun to see, and Auntie Em’s Miniatures, a really cute shop where I found some SD-sized benches once upon a time, is also close by There's also a comic book shop, tea shop/apothecary, collectible toy shop (no BJDs last time I was there lol), and some fun antiques and clothing boutiques.

Hi everyone! I’m in SE Arizona and would like to join a meet up some time in the future. I will have to finish my girl’s face-up and body blush (hahahaha procrastination and it’s raining a lot right now in my valley). It would be so fun to hang out with other enthusiasts and their doll families!

 

It’s nice to meet you! It’d be great to get together some time in the future! We’re all spread out, but I would love a road trip to somewhere cooler than Phoenix lol. Good luck on your faceup!

For the next doll excursion, we’re looking at February 21st for the Arizona Matsuri Arizona Matsuri | Feb 21-22, 2026 | Japanese Cultural Festival in PHX It’s located in Central Phoenix. Parking gets tight, but it’s pretty close to the light rail line and there’s usually shuttles from official Matsuri parking lots.

For this Saturday, the festival opens around 10am, so we were thinking of meeting up around 11-12? I haven’t been in a couple years, so I’m not sure what it’ll be like, but I know there’s spaces in the park we can kinda sit down and enjoy

Is it 11 or 12? Has the time been firmed up?

 

I'll be there closer to 11:30/12 (forgot my husband has a dentist appt... it might get done early though!), but I think Rivet and some others will be there earlier There are some gacha machines(?) in section H11/H12 (https://azmatsuri.org/wp-content/uploads/Arizona-Matsuri-2026-Map-scaled.jpg) that might be a good meetup area? I'm guessing there's going to be somewhere around there that should be free(ish) to hang out?

I guess when people get there, we can post where we are

 

We’re currently hanging behind the gatcha booths near the cultural stage, but we might start roaming soon-ish

 

But we’ll be the only ones carrying dolls, as far as I’ve seen so far
