Hi, I'm eyeing a doll on denver doll and I was wondering if fellow europeans paid high-priced customs ordering from them recently ? I'm from Belgium and I haven't ordered outside of the EU for quite some time since the new regulations to save as much as possible with extra costs, but there is one doll I really want that seems only available there with all the criteria I want. The shipping costs is already at 81$ for my location with a doll at 300$, so back then when I used to order you would pay something around 25% of the price in customs, did you have a similar experience with your recent orders ? Thanks in advance
You can put the data into SimplyDuty and get a more-or-less accurate number for VAT and duty. Different couriers add very different service fees, though - I'm not sure what DDE uses to send to Europe but I recently got a parcel from the US with UPS and the fees were really... more than I've ever seen a courier charge. Things shipped with USPS originally have always switched to a less expensive courier in the EU side of things, though - it's a bit of a gamble.
[21% tax from (item value + its shipping)] + handling fees] + 21% of the total on top of whatever currency converstion they deem do not order from anyone outfit of EU who will mark as a comercial sale with original value or you will go broke
