Gael and Hayk have been a couple for a year. Hayk is Bimong Narin68 Grey. The outfit is by ASD/Absolute Doll. Gael is Vings68v.2 Seira. The gown is by atelier'剧场日 (Theaterday). I'm not really into putting BJD boys in dresses, but I thought Gael should have one for special occasions. More photos on my doll blog. Thank you for looking!
These are such gorgeous photos!! They’re styled so beautifully and the poses are so sweet and tender, especially the close up of the hands
Congratulations to the lovely couple! Those are wonderful outfits, like very special wedding garments.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments! @Marquis I love taking pics of their hands, because they're such different sizes @Rosslyn I'm not into dioramas so the dolls are the main subject of my photos. It helps that my home gets lots of good natural light, I love to take my time and work with the lighting. @evie the kid I'm really glad I got these outfits, they suit the dolls really well. And they do make great wedding clothes ... though the couple had that photoshoot a year ago, with different outfits. ^^ @quilleth Thanks, I'm glad you like
They both look lovely, and I like the contrasting colour schemes! I'm not super fond of putting boys in dresses either, but I think Gael's dress has an androgynous angelic quality to it somewhat similar to the way Volks styles Yume-Tenshi Sakaki. I like the art piece on the wall with the wing coming into the photos too
@castironteapot thanks, the dolls and outfits complement each other so well The art piece is a kite in the shape of a flying eagle - it's been a backdrop to lots of my doll pics but I don't usually zoom out so much on it. I see plenty of cross-dressed males, but most of those outfits are either too sexed up or too cutie/'soft' for my taste - I want something mature and elegant and modest, and also something that hits the right spot on the feminine-masculine scale for Gael. It's great when an artisan creates something that ticks all the boxes.
