I finally enjoy working on my boy again. After the accident I stopped immidiately because I felt so so bad about it.
I finished his hooves today with a thin layer of pearl ex and he looks like a littlte girl's dream. He is pastelly and shining like a pearl now I can't wait to string him
Gluing the horn to his forehead took forever and I might need to work something out to cover the edge better, but it is removable with some water so it should be fine
He needs a new name because he no longer is a dear deer
Without his antlers Krone (German for Crown) has lost the meaning.

And @fishcake I LOVE her paws. I was like you wondering why the hell would a dragon have furry feet but after kind Arekushia showed me detail of them I adore them so much I don't care if they look dragonish or not. The fur at the backside is going almost to the ground and because some odd reasons I fell for the way the fur is sculpted

@safir you are so right about that. She seems SUPER rare. To be honest I belive fishcake's Agate is the first one I saw NOT in default outfit and one of maybe 3 in total ?

Yeah, I think she wrote that she gave away her Agate and soon after that got another one even with the littlte dragon (AWESOME )
Hopefully many ppl go for her in a future FCE

I already think I could never let him go again. I still know that I was quite sad that he was 'only the Romantic head' but now the only thing I am a littlte bit sad about is that he has no special ears. I love the dreamy / somehow arrogant eyes now. Isha will make a good companion. Even more kissy lips and dreamy eyes too
I hope I can get some light tomorrow, even if he is not 100% ready yet I will take a picture.

I still need some light purple eyelashes for him

Unfortunately, all of my Super Gems are at my parents' house at the moment... mom is slowly working on a prototype for Aeona's dress (thank you for Aeona, fishcake, she is so lovely!), and someone wanted to commission a Vesuvia dress so mom borrowed Pele, but the person has since not gotten back to her with any details, and she borrowed Kalar to work out how to make Benmore pants with some Benmore feet I had bought off the Marketplace with vague ideas to give them to my Heliot boy, then changed my mind. And he's currently headless because in the process of moving my doll things from room to room I am not sure where the box with his head went.

The good news is, the prototype for Aeona's outfit is pretty. Even though it's only the bottom layer with many more layers to go!

I am a bit surprised to see Coquina and Nephelin on the post MD list, given that they're so old. It will be curious to see how their resin colour has held up while stored at the factory. I was also hoping that they might have a CW Odette hanging around, but alas no such luck.

 

The other a bit surprising thing is that Nephelin is offered in gray and Arkose in bronze, but they weren't available in those colours back then... They are from FCE I guess?

Ok, when I asked them on their Q&A board some weeks ago if by luck they would have a Wolf the knight in stock left so I could have one they answered me they didn't have any, and now they have 3 for the event ? O_o

Ah, a post-MD event! And some truly rare beauties are up, oh my goodness! :O I guess some of these dolls are from the super-long layaways that got cancelled, so we'll have to see how this goes. No layaway, which is to be expected, but so many tempty thoughts fill my head! My brain is fried by that Coquina though...five years, OMG! :O All the space these dolls must've been taking up for years, it's mind-blowing!

Feeling safe unless they find more lost treasures in the storeroom. Have all the SG things I wanted from the list, wrong resin colour for Ender, can't talk myself into dropping so much cash on London, don't want any of the smaller dolls.

 

Question about how the Post MD event works...

Does who ever checks out with it first gets it or is it a lottery on who gets it?

 

It's usually a lottery, but it's weird how they worded "You can start to make an order at 11:00AM(in Korean time) on 30 Sep."

Cause all the previous Post-MD events have been that they open a special Q&A board, and you post on it to enter to lottery. Maybe they mean the Q&A board will be linked at 11am Sep 30?

I'm trying to remember if they've always done a lotto in the past. I know for LE outfits and wigs and the like, they've done first-come, first-serve before. I really do think it's going to be a bit of a scramble for the people who are determined, but we'll have to see.

I'm mainly tempted with regretfulness over Red Riding Hood human Wolf, and paying in full's not an issue for me, but I don't think the odds will be decent if it's buy first, let alone across all the sites, with such limited stock. But we'll see where I am at the end of the month. Funnily enough I have all the faeries, which are always the biggest temptation for me! I hope these dolls finally do make it to lovely homes and people.

@cowpewter - Hnng! I have a Fenris problem (actually a DA2 problem, I've played that game So Many Times!) And I wanted to create a Fenris, but I could never find the right sculpt, or resin color, and never even considered Soom... but HNNG! Fenris! Post lots of pictures

 

The original colors for Arkose were WS and light violet. Maybe they dis bronze for an event.

 

He was offered in the FCE which offered bronze.

That Obsidius is tempting... but I want an Obsidius on a Super Senior Delf body. I'd have no use for the extra body!

 

Ah! I forgot about the FCE! I got my Arkose in the post MD event of the original release, so I probably wasn't paying attention to the FCE.

 

Isn't it about time for another FCE? Maybe a human body one... (hint, hint, Soom)

Like say... a Vesuvia head on a female body in that lovely green they do... naturally with the option of all the extra parts they do - hands feet, heel legs, because how else would you not have to worry about resin matching later? (can you tell I'm SO obsessed with having a Poison Ivy?)

I want this more than a SG mermaid. Seriously, look at the smaller mermaids they did in the past - tail with 2 joints, maybe 3? - for how much Soom would charge I'd want an actually articulated tail and with how they crank out dolls on a (somewhat) bi-monthly basis there's just not the design/development time to create a good, working, tail. I'd rather spend my $1000 (or more, knowing Soom) on DZ's epic new mer-person and get the type of tail I want
