It's been a while since I ordered from Lati, but seriously SERIOUSLY tempted by Jia in this release.. there is something about her little pout... what's the waiting time been like these days?

 

Valee.anne, the waiting time is about 6-7 months now. It was 8-9 months recently, so Lati is catching up. I ordered tan Jia, she is so cute! It was on 24th December, and my order is still not confirmed. I never wrote Lati because of not confirmed order, but I am afraid this time I will have to disturb them...

It took them a while to confirm my latest order, but they finally did. I placed my order the first day of the event period and my status recently changed to "preparing items"...

I have a question for you Lati veterans since I'm still a newbie... My first order with Lati was during the Peter Pan release and I have seen quite a few people talking about the lati points and late points. When are our points updated on Lati's site? When the items ship? Because I have 2 orders processing and still no points showing. Also, when are we able to ask for late points on an order?? Thanks in advance!

 

Spoiledshells, you can get from 5% to 15% of late points from the order value for your order depending on how late it was shipped. You will not get them automatically. It is necessary to ask Lati about points on their Q&A board (you should also use not too long password, otherwise you will not be able to read Lati's reply; I use 5 letters). I usually ask for points when my order qualified for the points and is shipped. If you ask earlier and you did not qualified for the maximum points, you will have to ask again for the extra points. If the order qualified for the maximum 15% points and is still not shipped, it makes sense to ask for the points, especially if you want to use them. 1 point equals 1 USD.

 

Smilga I also aked Lati to confirm my order. They said they are later then usually but will get to it.

Spoiledshells We will be eligible for 15 % late points for the Peter Pan release the end of february. I also think it's best to ask Lati for all the points at once when they reach the 15%.

 

wooooah... was up to 9 months? That is crazy!! Jia is adorable... I am so tempted.... but I think the wait might drive me nuts

 

Smilga and Lillyroos Thank you for the info! I will definitely inquire about late points after I qualify for the 15% points. To be completely honest, I was beginning to get impatient (and yes I knew there was a 9 month wait when I placed my first order.. but it's sooo tough!) after seeing some GoH and LoL dolls appear on Flickr. I can't wait until I receive my very first package directly from Lati. I know I already have 6 LY babies in my possession, but there's something about receiving a brand new doll..

I think this news about 15% is helping me be a bit more patient now I currently have two orders processing through Lati and both are over $1,000 each. 15% on both of those orders would be quite nice

 

Here is my new baby! I am so excited. I just needed her to arrive this day. And she is perfect. No name and no wig yet, but oh so stealing my heart.

My Sunny arrived to Madrid on Dec27, and this morning the package arrived to my home :*( the shipping waiting it's been more stressful than the Lati's waiting, but she's here and she's sooo beautiful!!!

Hello, my name is Linda and I got my first Lati Yellow back in 2007, Lami (known as Fern). Recently I've acquired a LY Ruki, LY SP Miel and LY SP Coco. So the family has grown. I thought I'd stop in and see the wonderful photos of your dolls and meet some like minded people. Now to see if I can manage a photo here. If I didn't do this correctly, please let me know. I just got basic Jia with a wig and a basic Sunny SP, both with face ups so that is probably why it was only about 5 months.

I received shipping notice for Legend of Lati Light Tan Sophie Elf last night, it's kind of funny that like it took her six months and a day to ship and yet I am still impressed they managed to get her to me much quicker than my last order that took over nine months >_<. It still doesn't deter me from ordering though as I ended up ordering Sophie's full set as well as a body/face up for Luna from this event.

I think my Sunny will be powder brown, I have a problem with redheads, I love them XD it's funny because this wig was the wig that my first lati had in 2009, I sold her but I kept all her things and now I can use them again!!

If anyone has her latis with mohair wigs, please share with us I'd like to see mohair in this cuties!!

So I finally took the plunge and ordered Lumi in brown tan with the blue marshmallow pet do you have to specifically ask for the event head because I ordered through dollpeddlar because the layaway option was nice haha (except the only options were fullset and blank though it made more sense to do that even though I didn't want the crown blushing or the shoes after spending so much around the holidays). *Secretly crossing my fingers for a lucky white marshmallow pet*

 

OMG all those stunning Sunnys make the wait for my girl even harder... But I am so damn happy that I ordered her, I would have regretted it deeply if I didn't...

 

Please post lots of Jia pic I love this girl a lot she reminds me of Sophie but diff. eye shapes TIA

 

Always happy to oblige. I have both Sophie and Jia, and in my eyes they could easily be sisters.

evichan, not a mohair wig, but Jia is wearing an alpaca wig. I do have a mohair one for her too, it is red, but today she is a brunette.
