Guys! Did you see the new doll posted on Peak's Wood's FB and their website???
Does anyone know more about it? It seems to be an Alice in Wonderland series! No idea what size though...(I'm assuming FOC for now)

 

Yeah, it's FOC limited edition, not fond of the blue nails though. Do those lovely hands come with their dolls or do you have to order them separately?

 

For Dlight you had to order them extra. I'm really curious to see those new limiteds. PW is ruining me XD I already have 2 on order but part of me hopes the new limiteds will vr to my taste too.....maybe a FIC boy. ..

 

today they posted a pic of the FIC Rabbit Goon on their FB page. He looks AMAZING!

I so hear you on that, Kurisu. I'm scared to see if the have a Cheshire or another character with big eyes as thank god I'm not tooo fond of wake up eyes.
Other thing I'm wondering is if they'll be in a LE fullset like the original FOF alice in wickedland with outfits and shoes and wigs...

 

I'm pretty sure they will be offered as full set, at least that was suggested by Peak's Woods when someone asked for Dlight full set. *__*
I'm really annoyed, I'm so convinced FOC Rabbit Goon will look stunning together with wake-up Dlight >___<

 

Oooh they would be gorgeous together I think (sorry :p) And arg if they're fullsets...I might die...but my Dlight reaaaally does need a gentleman *cries* I'm scared to see them all and the prices...thank god for layaway I guess??

The original Alice in Wickedland consisted of 3 dolls, so this might be it. Hopefully the ordering period will extend into November ^^"

I guess they will release more info after the weekend, as they are in New York right now I believe...but maybe some friendly and awesome soul from Amerika would be so nice as to share photos from the Dollism Plus New York with us from Europe? pretty please!! As I think PW might have brought the new ones with them to show off (yes, they certainly can justify showing off with those beauties ;D)
Otherwise we must just wait and see when they update their online store XD

Hey everyone! What doll is mold of the white rabbit? Is it Tristan? I'm sooo in love with him (just noticed the new dolls) These guys aren't one-offs are they?

Hmm so they are actually already existig molds, not new ones. I did think the madhatter looked a bit like Bella...but wasn't sure. Hmm...I cannot wait til next week until we have some info about the sets.

 

They are limited, but when P W does a limited doll doesn't that just mean there is a limited time to order or it? Or does there mean there is a limited edition size that could sell out fast?

 

I think its for a "limited time," as in you have a month to order before the time is up. And if its a "one-off," then its for a really really limited time (usually sells out within an hour or less because they only make one of a particular doll) Lets hope they're not "one-offs"

 

I think they would have written it if it were one ofs. Last year they had a Halloween event as well with the little blue grey vampires, and I think PW got a.other of new customers that way. So I'm guessing the teasers are to promote themselves for the Halloween event?

By the way, does the nose on Mad Hatter not look slightly different than Dandy Bella's? I would believe the white rabbit to be a Tristan version, but Bella I'm not sure. It's just, the nose and the lips look a bit different to me, but that might just be the face up. XD

I remember one of their AB LEs was limited to 20 or something. But the previous Halloween series were time limited that's true. If they're one offs...then oh well, the fight will be on!

Peak's Wood did reply on their Facebook page under the picture of Alice that these dolls were part of the Halloween special release. I have a friend at the Dollism event in NY who told me there are 4 dolls in the series. I think they are Alice, White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, and the Cheshire.

 

O nice! I wonder what the Cheshire cat is going to look like!

Well, I saw the dolls at Dollism, they are really just breathtaking. I believe Cheshire was male.
I ended up pre ordering an Alice myself, I think she may have been the most amazing Peakswood doll I have laid eyes on, and they are all incredible. The Peakswood team was so nice too! .

OMG OMG Kurisu, you found pictures! I don't know what to start with...nnghh, tropical tan Dlight!!! She is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so nice to see owner pictures, I have never been so happy in my life about a doll. She is perfection, my little ideal girl *fans self* oh my....*dies* I cannot wait, I swear I feel like I have never been this excited for a doll I'm waiting for...I like her face-up so much on the tropical tan. I hope she'll be just as gorgeous in sunlight tan. She cannot come home fast enough! D:

For the Cheshire, is he the black haired one? Looks kinda like a black haired Madhatter tbh haha, I'd have thought the Cheshire costume would be more...different I guess. Also I wish they'd post a picture already, in HD so I can go stalk his face. Anyone knows what mold he is?
I have definitely decided that one of these 2 boys (sorry Rabbit, you and I are not meant to be together, I'm sure Kurisu will take great care of you :P) needs to be mine.

If this continues I might as well set up my salary to be sent to PW directly *cries* (I'm sorry I'm completely hyper right now)

Hmm I think so yeah, it should be the same color as the suntan Goldie from the Vampire Wedding LE. Which was always a color I was in love with. Never seen it in person though, so super excited. I'm happy they went away from the other Tan they had which was a bit orangey and always reminded me of spraytan kind of...
Hmm, d'you think it's just like with Alice there are 2 version and they did the same with Madhatter? It kinda looks like a Bella sculpt too, but the pics are not clear enough to see.
I'm assuming they'll be for sale in October (1 week to surviiive to see al pictures >_<) I have some time to decide. Very tempted with the suntan one to go with Dlight so they can be some happy surfer couple lol (I'm not serious...)

Well, judging from the colors they already showed I assume that yes. I think the previous LE series you could choose ns and ws too (I guess grey or tan is not everyones cup of tea). Not sure for Diamond skin (I don't know if it was just for Dlight as she's the fairy of diamond etc) Rabbit looks like a light grey, hmmm.

Awesome, I love his outfit will you do his face-up yourself? I think I'll get Madhatter with face-up from what I've seen so far (but need to wait for frontal view to decide for sure)

Me too, I think he looks super cute in his full set. Yes, I'll do his face up myself. I'm not super good, but I've spent so much money on face up materials by now, that I feel I ought to do those myself. My Dlights will come faceupless as well ^^

I admire your faceup plans I suck at it so bad lol, my Dlight is faceup less but will be shipped off to an artist asap. I don't want to risk not bonding to her as I always get put off by face-up less dolls (they just don't talk to me... I had to sell some before because I took to long to plan their faceups and the love was gone).

I enjoy doing faceups myself. And I feel like I'm getting a lot better lately, but it's also important to me that I won't feel bad about wiping a faceup to reinvent a doll XD And seeing as the totally gorgeous PW faceups cost around $80 I get a bit stingy XD'
But yeah, I feel that way too. It's not very motivating to have too many faceupless dolls. >_<"

LOL Kurisu and Dlight is amazing, and yes PW is my new expensive acquaintance, although I have wanted a PW doll since the dawn of time...I have always loved them and never got one! When I saw Alice I was just, gah, lost. They were so sweet too, they got wigs from me and we all took pictures, I will post one.
I got Alice in that grey blue. It is the most amazing color in person, it's more sky blue than grey, just incredible. I got the special hands and the eyes...I might change my mind and get the outfit, it was TDF.
All the Wonderland dolls were amazing, just gorgeous. I mean every detail perfect.
And I am still going awwwww over photos of the team, what sweethearts! At least we know our funds are going to nice people and amazing artists.
I will surely post photos of her, she is the grail doll I was not aware of, I thought vampire Tristan was mine, but then I had to let that one get away. Alice, no, she is my baby. That blue has to be seen to be believed. It's so clear and lovely, not garish at all. Very subtle.
I think that they will offer sculpts in the special tones and the colors, like they did with some others. The special tones are not everyone's cup of tea, and the dolls are also amazing in the NS. That said, I needy need the blue. It took my breath away, I stalked that doll all weekend! If I had the $$$$$ I would have taken her home, as all the dolls on the table were for sale. The awesome thing was that PW gave those of us who pre ordered at the show free shipping.

It's wonderful to read your comments of the dolls and the ladies of PW, Stella! I hope I can meet them one day too as they seem very lovely.
I'm really excited to see your Alice! She must be in the same one as the FOF vampires, as those are labelled grey but actually are close to very light blue.
PW do seem to have the habit of sneaking up on people with a Surpise Grail! haha. I had the same feeling with Dlight.
I'm really happy that the PW threads are livelier now these dolls deserve to be discussed.

 

These dolls do deserve to be lauded, they are a company that has really stood the test of time.
yeah, the Surprise Grail, now there's a new one on me, but it is perfect.
I have to check out the FOF vamps and see.
The blue that she is is like a sky blue almost, but so beautiful, I know I am just repeating myself but I cannot help it, I am a squeeing fangirl.

And you're right, PW is one of those companies that has been around for ever but somehow always in the background...they always kind of went unnoticed besides Luts and Volks and DOD back in the day (2006/7-ish+). I heard they started by being sold through Luts tho I've never seen it myself.

I'm the one who snatched up the tropical tan Dlight! I always wanted a Goldie, but those plans went right out the window, haha. The elf Tristan next to her in one of the pics is the lighter tan, just for comparison. I was actually told by Peak's Woods that they won't be doing the tropical tan again, but I hope they change their minds because it's really beautiful. My friends and I bought so much at their booth. I would have spent all weekend over there if I could have.

I'm wondering, if you remember the colour of the little vamps in front of the couples, and then compare it with the colour of Alice - if it was sort of the same or if it was more light blue than grey?? I have one of those blue grey vamps and she is a nice mix of blue and grey. Pretty cool if they invent unique skin tones for new LE dolls though *___*

Could you perhaps also uncover the mystery as to the ca. price of the full sets - doll and all? Will they even be sold with the possibility of full sets? I don't know how much you got to talk to the PW ladies (I'm SO jelly you got to meet them btw!), but Kawachu and I am dying of excitement and there just seem so long until October all of a sudden. (If you don't feel comfortable revealing it, it's OK, Kawachu and I are just REALLY impatient) XDD'

It's funny that, a year ago when I bought my little FOF vamp Alice, I swore she would be the only 'odd' coloured doll I'd get, but I guess I can kiss that goodbye. Their new skin tones are simply amazing!! I'm really looking forward to see which skin tones will be up for the Halloween event

I actually changed my settings on my laptop for better resolution, and It looks like the last doll on the podium at the PW booth was the Mad Hatter - just in ns and a slightly different set of clothes. The two Alices also had slightly different clothes - but not much.

I do recall that I saw them on Luts' site once, way back when I was considering which CP Delf to order as my first doll (ended up ordering a Shine as it felt like everyone in the community had El - but how could you not drool over him? XD). But I didn't consider them I guess, because I wanted a male doll as my first ^^

So I hope it's OK with you, I was just so surprised and excited to see such a lovely girl in a skin tone I had not counted on.

 

Seconding the clothes question! It does seem they'll be sold with optional fullset outfits etc but a confirmation would be awesome (to you know...know how many kidneys and first borns to sell etc )

And hahaha me too, I've been checking their FB too often even tho technically it's night over there and they're probably catching up on some well deserved sleep. Hopefully by tomorrow morning we'll know mooore.
And yeah, the more I squint at that picture the more it just looks like ns Madhatter. Part of me is super happy for less choices to make but another part is like Nooes no Cheshire! If it is just ns Madhatter my choice is pretty much 99% made, for a tan Madhatter to be my Dlight's gentleman.

I didn't buy her clothes yet. She's just wearing some leftovers from my booth until I can make her something. I was lucky that they happened to give me a wig that looked pretty much exactly like what I wanted. It felt really crazy to just pay for a doll and take it home the same day! The Peak's Woods ladies are so nice and fun to talk to. It's such a different experience.

 

I'll be getting the rabbit in white skin for sure and the Alice I am torn over the grey blue skin and the normal skin. Full sets on both. I am in high selling mode on ebay, clearing things out so I can raise the money to get them. I'm half way there! I haven't felt this way about a doll since Iplehouse did Bianca the Addiction. Oh my god, these Peakswoods are just gorgeous works of art! Anyone have any idea when they will be going up for sale?

 

From past events, I'd assume in Oct (hopefully oct 1st) as they are the Halloween series and they'll probably be for sale all month of October

 

Do they ever close the ordering early on certain skin tones or full sets or anything like that?
