Any additional info/backstory: Att grew up relatively poor in the less fortunate part of an otherwise very wealthy family in Johannesburg. Never fitting in with his unusually quiet demeanor and tendencies to spend all day hidden behind his biology books, he became completely estranged from his parents after being kicked out at 14 after an especially big fight over various issues. He is taken in by Jaguar and his family, merely an acquaintance from school back then, and at first only for a couple weeks until arrangements could be made for Atticus to move in with his uncle. But weeks turn into months and acquaintances become best friends who face almost everything together, despite being very different in character. They are more or less the only people who can put up with each other's shit without exception.
