Aubergine Girl Wow! Kōri is lovely in full set! Congratulations.

RubyHeart Two Noas! They both look so different from one another too even though they're both bat babies..so lucky to have twin Noas! I think Noa may be one of my overall favorite sculpts with her doe eyes.

Thank you for all comments on the previous thread for Sunny. I love the light tan, Sunny is a tiny bit lighter than Hella (Coco).

@Katrine: Hella is the open eye Aladdin version Coco. She is the prettiest Coco there is, well I think so . I am pretty active on the norwegian forum and I have seen you there as well . I love your Lea, she is super adorable .

 

Katrine, I am sure I bought it from you ad I couldn't be happier with it, Harper will probably refuse to tak it off in summer^^

Does anyone one know how difficult it is to put a LY head on a pukifee body?

 

shouldn't be hard at all the only problem would be matching the skin colors

 

Thanks auntbear. I don't mind if the resin isn't perfect as long as they both white skinned. I think Lami has mellowed some so she's not going to be the easiest I match as is.

 

so i just tried it to see exactly how well it would work. you have to take off the top neck piece to make the neck fit in and then it is a bit wobbly so i would probably replace that with a rubber or plastic kip for stability, but i don't think that would be difficult and i think it should work fine with that modification. here is a picture of from the side. you can see the pukifee neck is quite a bit slimmer, which is why it wobbles

my lati head is ns and the body is an older bw so just ignore the colors, but i hope it helps

I know she would get played with more if she was more stable and posed better. I absolutely adore Latis sculpts I just wish they'd come out with a better body. It took me fifteen minutes to get her posed today. Maybe I'm more spoiled with my pukifees but she kept falling backwards. I know her previous owner sueded her and that may need to be done again. I thought about pipe cleaners too for the time being. Her arms snap into and out of place.

 

They have come out with a better body since the vamps. My older vamp lumi is challenging to pose, but my more recent aladdin haru with the new body stands like a rock - i can usually just plop her down and she is good to go.

 

If you're looking for a better body, consider the tiny delf body. Both my lati girls are on tiny delf bodies, no modding needed and the color match is very close for the NS (don't know about white skin.)

Botflybaby - Woah! LOVE the faceups on your girls! And Miel's eyes!

vertefae - I have used pipecleaners in my Miel's legs. They have the older renewal body - before the knees where separate pieces from the lower leg (as in the version before the current version 1 renewal body). It helps a bit but they are still a bit kicky. I think I'm going to try to hot glue sued them.

Do the delf tan bodies match Lati's? I was looking at their site earlier and their tan looks more brown and less orange compared to Lati's tan. I have a mystic Miel head from the Bloody Moon release that needs a body. I haaaate floating heads.

 

I love the body of the Sunny I just got a few weeks ago. I know I've never come in contact with the old body, so I can't compare the two, but Sunny is VERY easy to pose. Like Lubelle said, her body stands like a rock. I never have to fear Sunny falling over like I do my white Belle or even my tiny delf Gretel. Belle is a nightmare to pose (I can't even get her to stand), and Gretel's tiny delf body is nice, but it's hard for me to get her to sit without falling backwards. Noooo problems with sitting for Sunny. I was really surprised and happy with how smoothly she moves and how well she holds a pose.

 

Hmm maybe it would be better to see if anyone local has a newer body to try out and see how it poses. We shall see what happens

 

i would second that one. my lea is usually on a td body instead of a lati one, she came off that to try the pukifee body out.

generally luts is one of the faster companies. they got a little behind with all their centaurs but i'd check the waiting room to see if they are caught up again.

that would be the problem. ns and probably ws would be close enough to blush easily but i think the tans would be a lot farther apart. that seems to be the hardest skin color to match across companies, especially when there are so many different tans!

 

Generally luts is very fast, but I ordered my lea's body when they were backed up with other orders so I think it took 2 months to ship. In the past, I have gotten dolls from luts within 3 weeks! I'm not sure what the wait is right now though, I ordered my body in feb and I got it in april.

As far as I know luts doesn't match lati tan. Though I've only seen luts brown skin compared to other companies. Luts has 3 tan skins available, but I still think they probably won't be a good match for lati, which is light and very orange from what I've seen.

 

of course it is somewhat ironic that we are talking about luts being "backed up" and taking 2+ months to ship on the lati thread don't ya think .....

Can you order just a body from Luts? I was trying to see if you could order a body only from Lati but I really don't want to wait 9 months to get it.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll just have to keep hunting. Or maybe see if I can get Lati to sell me just a tan body. I posted on their Q&A board asking about that the other day and am still waiting on a response. Problem is, even if I manage to buy just a tan body from Lati, it still might not match. I think the vampires from the Bloody Moon release were a bit darker than the tan they use now. But I suppose something is better than nothing.

on the discussion of different tans! I have a Lati tan and also Luts' brown skin and dark tan skin. The only Luts tan I don't have is light tan. The two Luts tans I have are no where near Lati's.

PinkPanther - first, I bought two wigs from you and they are out-of-this-world amazing! They're amazingly soft, too...I am so happy with them!

Second, I'm both excited and disappointed about another release. I was foolishly hoping for my MH order to ship first. Silly me. But damn they look cute as always.

 

Yes I was hoping Lati would ship MH and B and B orders first. The wait has been so long. And I am probebly going to complain about the long wait again. But I still can't help being excited they look soo cute.

 

I am very exited about the new release! Even I waited for my last doll from Lati almost months, I might get weak and get a tan Sunny, she is adorable! I think she has a wonderful faceup. I am surprised to see that Lati used version 1 body for this photo. The white skin Sophie is adorable too, I like her eyelashes that are not black.

 

Love them. Probably won't order though with their wait times already this bad :/

Sunny looks like a brown tan skin to me and I thought Sophie's skin color was lilac, but maybe you're right Smilga and she's white skinned.
I'm hoping for a tan skin option for Sophie.

 

Sunny is so gorgeous I'm really hoping she is dark tan I love everything about her. Lati's pictures can be confusing. Sophie looks lilac on my computer too.

Lillyroos, thank you very much for posting the photos! I love the green colour of Kuroo, it looks much better as in the promo photos. I also realised that Laches has elf ears, and I think they are beautiful.

So at this point I only have one doll from Lati that I am waiting for, my dark tan Sissi.

Oh my gosh, this new release.. If Legend of Latiland Pero comes in tan..I'm so sold. @.@ I wonder if Pero is supposed to be King Arthur or what their storyline entails.

I am so pissed right now

My boyfriend went to the customs office today, early in the morning. It takes half an hour to get there... He showed them the printed invoice from Lati for my Coco and since Lati doesn't put the tracking number direktly onto the invoice they didn't believe it was the right invoice and now he won't get my Coco... All in all it takes him two hours to get there, wait there and get back home. FOR NOTHING...
