2. OK new DT mini thread! I'll start with my 7Yr Momo, Darla.

[IMG] 081 by terridoll2, on Flickr[/IMG]

3. I hope no one will mind but l thought I would show of my newest arrival with you all , well part of her she arrived on the wrong body so thats on the way back with her right body on the way home , so for now she is borrowing Deogi body while she is still snowed in the spa :( …

Here is 7yr Elysia , I haven’t found her look yet , but for her name I keep getting Nancy so I think thats her name :)

4. Oh Mary she is gorgeous!!! :D And I just adore how you have styled her ......but what happened about her body?!

5. Thanks theresa and Jane , I’m still playing around with her , just trying to get that special look :( she arrived on a 5yr body instead of the 7yr so the body went back and the 7yr will be on the way .

6. My girl had a little fall-out the other week *oops*

Mistake by Little little mouse, on Flickr

Everything is okay now, but I was a little worried at the time!

I love how my girls can pose with the wire in their arms and legs.
In fact when a friend came to visit recently and brought a double jointed doll from another well known company that is famed for its posing, I found I could pose my single jointed (but wired) dolls in exactly the same way that doll could.

• x 1
7. So glad that the girls made nice after that roughhousing! I do love the way they pose for you Jane, my 7Y bodies took some glue sueding to be able to even stand unaided. Haven't tried the wiring yet though.

8. Heheheheeee! And the more there are of us the merrier we will be! :dance

And I forgot to say to you Mary what a shock that must have been to receive the wrong size body! :? Was that direct from DT?

9. Jane love the photo of your girls having fun , you inspire me to play more :) … what do you use to wire them , my 7yr body has a habit of one leg turning and the knee not staying in position it’s such a pain :(

as for the body, I bought the doll from a lady on a forum and when the doll arrived it was on a 5yr body not 7 so she said to send it back and she will send the wright one , bit of a mystery but hopefully it will all work out .

10. I use 2mm aluminium armature wire for my MSD DT dolls.............as recommended by Teddy.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261248408847?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

And I don't unstring the dolls either. I thread one one piece through the upper torso and down each arm, and then I thread a really long 'U' shaped piece through the lower torso and down each leg.
I have also seen wiring done as a crossover from one leg through the whole torso and down the opposite arm. One day I will try that way and see if it works any better than the method I use.

But the difference in a wired doll and an unwired one is phenomenal

But what a pain about the wrong body being sent!

11. Your girls are wonderful Btatiana. I love the way hey are dressed. Who makes their costumes please?

12. I've been lurking a bit but the girls wanted to share their tea party

I love seeing all the new girls and their lovely outfits.

13. We're having such a weird weather day here in Oklahoma. It started off with freezing rain, then snow, then thunder snow and now sleet. The temp hasn't moved a notch, it's 12.9 degrees with the wind chill below zero. Ugh! But Allyson, who sorry to say hasn't had much play time lately, has found a great way to pass the time until she can go outside and play. :) She's such a good girl.
Belinda

14. Thank you Belinda and Jane!!
I have never owned Sia. She has such a sad little face...oh yeah, all DT sculpts have sad faces!! ;)

15. Happy for you Debra! And yes, those sad little faces, begging to be given a home.

16. thats a Battle you don’t mind losing :) Congrats , still waiting for the face up waiting list of yours :)

17. Thank you Theresa and Mary!! :)

Thanks for waiting for my waiting list Mary!! Getting a little more confidence.

18. Ok it’s time for a :dance just got my shipping notice from DT, Ganga is on her way :dance ... I also just paid off my Layaway on Mari another 7yr , she will also be on her way soon :dance

OMG!!! :doh I’m going to have a house of chattering 7 year olds :fangirl:

19. Heheheheeeee.....let me tell you a house full of chattering 7 year olds is total fun! :dance

I am so pleased Ganga is already on her way home!

20. thanks Jane I’m so looking forward to them all arriving … :cheer:cheer:cheer:cheer:cheer:cheer

21. Congrats Mary!! Looking forward to seeing the girls!

22. Debra, how great you're getting Deogi and Sia. I'm waiting until I can get the body I want that's color is out of stock so it all arrives at once. I can't wait to see how beautiful you make them!

Mary, Good for you! I look forward to seeing them, too.

23. OMG !!! they are all home and what a lot of fun they are having, as soon as I can get them to settle down , I will take a group shot of all of them , I think thats all for a while …

24. Mary I wondered what that shout of joy was about! I even heard it in the UK this morning! LOL! :dance

I am just so pleased for you.......waiting for that group shot now! :)

25. Yes Jane that was me :D..I was so happy to have them arrive with in days of each other :dance... Ganga needs her makeup on she will go soon to have that done .. so here they all are my 7yr olds

26. Adorable girls Mary!!

27. Mary they are all utterly adorable :D I am just so pleased for you!!! What a houseful of potentially noisy fun you have got there :dance
I really hope you can get your Ganga faced-up really soon.............have you decided on the artist you will use yet?

28. Congratulations Mary, what an awesome group! Your Deogi turned out so perfect! Glad that she's home.

29. What a lovely group Mary! And what a handful they will be! :)

I'm still waiting for an artist to free up for my poor Momo. :(

Belinda

30. Lovely girls and what fun to have them all come at once. I can't wait to see more pictures!

31. Have you any idea when that might be yet Belinda? Waiting for a face-up artist to be free is really frustrating! *sigh*

32. No...Jane. *sigh* Eludys has changed her policy and prices. She has nearly doubled her faceup cost - $90 plus and only 10 people a month. I sure wish there were more US faceup artists. I really understand their position but now I've literally no chance of getting in anytime soon. I just purchased a rather spendy body to go with my floating head so I'm saving up again for Momo to be done. It's not so easy for her either with 2 heads and I'd like body blushing and a manicure. I'd like to try with another US artist or two but they are sooooo popular its like entering the national lottery. It's depressing. "sigh"

I've been down with yet another cold (this time with a bad cough) for over a week. Trying to work has been difficult to say the least. I'm just doing things that are fairly automated. LOL.

Belinda

33. Oh poor you Belinda ((hugs)) I so hope you get well soon................you need warm spring weather to help. And I actually think the almost the same as you about face-up artists! But I wish there were more in the UK!
Good luck with the saving up for that face-up and body blushing, so you can get little Momo booked in at a spa.

34. Thank you Jane, I hope so too! LOL! We've actually had better weather lately, I just haven't been well enough to go out and enjoy it.

I have one other option/artist I'm thinking about trying. I used to think she was expensive but not that's changed. LOL! Just got to save those dolly dollars now. :)

Belinda

35. Thanks everyone for your comments on my girls โ€ฆ Just love them โ€ฆ but they are a handful .
Belinda I hope you get better soon , have you tried Sally for a face up she does wonderful work ..
Jane I do have a lady lined up to do Gangas face up she will be on her way monday and she will stay in Australia :)

these girls just canโ€™t stop In hadnโ€™t even finished taking photos , Deogi and Mari were at it again , these 2 are the best of friends ..

36. I have learnt Never to say Never again ….

I just bought Momo's head … :doh she is so cute … :D

37. Oh Mary! That has so made me laugh, those girls are such live wires! Brilliant photo of their antics!

And then I laughed out loud again at your second reply about the purchase of the Momo head! {{helpless giggling}}
This is brilliant! :dance

38. What a great photo Mary and thank you for the well wishes! I also laughed when I saw you had purchased a Momo! Tee hee! I think mine will be a real handful especially since I've had such a hard time finding a faceup artist. I fully expect to pay for that problem! LOl!

Belinda

39. The girls look as if they are having a great time Mary!

Well I finally did it!
Ganga-my first commission!! Had a difficult time sending her home today too! Now I will have to buy a Ganga of my own!!

40. Oh wow skyeyze! She's beautiful! And congrats!!! You did a beautiful job! Is she oriental skin? Either Ganga or Seola is my next!

Belinda

41. Oh Mary! You are a Dollstown goner. I definitely understand your love for every one of those girls! And now adding Momo! What fun you are having!

I love your faceup style, Debra. What a beautiful look you have given Ganga, so soft and pretty. Congratulatons.

42. Thank you Belinda and Theresa!
Yes, she is Oriental. Such an adorable sculpt with her big eyes...gotta have her!

43. Debra I love the face-up you gave to Ganga but I have no idea how you let her go *gulp* well done! That must have been so hard and yet at the same time you know she will be loved.
Happy shopping for your own Ganga now! :)

I can never make up mind if Deogi or Ganga is my favourite of the little girls.....and then I look at Seola and Mari and Momo and I give up! I just love them all! LOL!

More of Alice by Little little mouse, on Flickr

I like that I have Megan (my second Ganga) outside the little storyworld I have created for my other three little girls.
It means I can have Megan dressed in whatever I like and for no reason! She is wearing an Alice outfit by Martha Boers here :D

44. skyeyze , you did a fantastic job on Ganga .. you look ready for a face up waiting list .. ;)

Jane WOW !!! Megan looks amazing …

45. Thank you Mary! I was just so lucky to get this outfit.
It is actually make to fit a KW doll, but as the DT7 body and the KW ones are very similar in size I knew this dress would be perfect for my girl. :)

And that mantle shelf just full of clocks at my parents house, is a perfect place to take "Through the Looking Glass and what Alice found there" inspired shots!

46. Mary - love the candid photo! :D

47. Thank you Jane and Mary!!

Yes, it was difficult sending Ganga back to her Mom...I fell in love with her while she was here.

Jane-Megan is so adorable and I love her outfit!

48. peppa
Lovely pictures!
skyeyze
Your Ganges is just gorgeous! Loved!

49. Thank you btatiana!! :)

50. I love Ganga as Alice Jane! She must love playing the role and wearing the great dress. What fun.

51. Thank you so much everyone about my Megan as Alice.......I am not actually an Alice in Wonderland fan but then when the chance came to buy this outfit I didn't hesitate!

Now I am having such fun thinking about other Alice themed photoshoot ideas now....

Reflection by Little little mouse, on Flickr

I based both these photo shown here on the original illustrations from "Through the Looking Glass and what Alice found there" drawn by John Tenniel

http://www.alice-in-wonderland.net/alice2b.html

The mantelshelf at my parents house is just so like the one in the book!

52. Wow, it is similar to the illustrations Jane!!

By the way, great clocks also!!

53. Thank you so much ((hugs)) I was actually *gobsmacked* when I first looked at the illustrations as I knew that mantelshelf was just so like the one at my parents house!:o

54. That must have been pretty funny when you realized it Jane. LOL.

I'm in trouble. Getting dirty looks and now this comment from Allyson.

Hey!!! Where's my cushions? Everyone else gets them but us?

Guess I better get busy!
Belinda

55. Allyson looks fabulous there Belinda.....is that a new wig? But poor girl having to make do with a rug instead of cushions! LOL!

And I was really surprised about the mantelshelf! *gasp*
I forgot to say this is a very small look at my father's HUGE clock collection.

56. Allyson is so adorable Belinda...even if she is unhappy with you about her lack of cushions!

57. You know...I think it's so cool when another family member's collection collides with ours!

Jane I've had that wig for a little while; one of the other girls was wearing it. Allyson has claimed it for now. She's very mercurial, changes her mind all the time. It's a two toned wig and I really like the look.

Thank you skyeyze! She is a little cutie! I need to make more clothes for her. The jeans she is wearing are a little short. They're really intended for Momo.
