    2. Here are KaKa, PuPu and SoSo behaving badly at a recent doll meet-up:

    3. My girls wanted to show our Rody. It's to big for them, but they love him any way.

Bara has pants to go with the skull shirt now...
Her sister Sarang (an Aki) is still more than a month away... we're trying to be patient!

    5. Always happy to be a part of first page spam.

This is Wren trying on some new hairs.

    6. Gosh, here's Ashton bringing flowers to Rowan on Valentine's Day. I guess it was the last photo of the last session. I'm sure glad to see some of my faves here, including Wren, Primrose, Vermont's cute kids, Bara and that cute Rody with LadyCrow's crew! [IMG]Flowers3 by hookedonirises2000, on Flickr

    7. My Realpukis got into a mess of trouble at the Christmas meet-up. And the funny thing is, I was totally unaware of it until they were in position. One of the other members was having fun posing them. Look what this little scamp got up to. He stole it right off the table.

    8. Thought Iยดd share my latest fave dress pattern - Wovenflame will recognise this - a baby sleeper pattern from ravelry. KeeKee sure do like the pattern also!

I used a 0.4 mm hook and sewingthread to get the size just right, and only had to extend the opening a bit. I made a bunch, but if you want to see them... (hints hints nudge nudges to her signature)

Oh a new Thread! You know its been a long time when you can't remember your password :(
I love everyone's photos they make me smile:D I hope everyone had a great weekend.

    10. What sweet outfits, everyone! I wish I could hit "like" as on FaceBook! I've stopped letting my RPs check out the daily pix as now they wants wants wants that sweet dollhouse, not to mention that glass of beer! I've made that baby sleeper dress for my Cabbage Patch Kids, Shayi, but don't think I'm up to using .4mm hook anymore, even with the magnifying floor lamp! But we did get some lovely perle cotton, #8, the other day. My Rowan was as happy as I was, lol! [IMG]

    11. I got an early birthday prezzie (the bed) so Kiwi and Nee were first to try it out.

    14. On pay day, I'm going back for some contrasting silk thread. maybe bright white and black... or teal and coral...
but I love how this pattern turned out. (crocodile stitch looks even better with contrasting rows of scales.)

    15. Eek!!! It's soooooo cute!!!

I don't know that stitch, but i did give my hook some attention this week. Just never finished it. I'm almost finished with one of the DP dresses last night. My eyes get tired fast, soooooo i can't do much at one time.

      Love your work!!!

    16. One of the local yarn shops has silk thread for needlepoint that's PERFECT for knit and crochet for teeny tiny dolls.
      and it's so SHINY!

    17. I'm in need of PP size right now. Mine need clothes, way more than the RPs...lol

    18. I've found both are a fun size to make stuff for... :D

    19. What a lovely dress, trinlayk! I've made many "human" items but very few for my bjd's as it's rather hard on the wrists after a while. Here's a dragon egg I've made for when my dragon transports bjd's for me. :) This is my Lati White about to take flight the other day.

    20. I needed a home for my little PoPo and I got carried away. :)

See how happy he is...he likes to tend to his garden and hang out with the littler critters that visit him.

    21. dontwork; That is simply fantastic. Must have taken a long time but done with love. Popo certainly better appreciate all of the hard work. Now that he has this he may need a partner to help out. :)

    22. Thank you! It was a lot of fun to do for him and it is really not finished, I keep adding little details here and there. Here is a closeup of my adorable little guy.

    26. dontwork that house is amazing, what a lucky little guy! (you should show it off on the houses for tines thread too)

disir2k i think it is still too early for the tan rps to come out. i just got a shipping notice on a doll i ordered before the event started for them

goran, what a good boy you have, buying toothbrushes instead of candy ;)

    28. I ordered my tan Aki in the beginning of January (maybe as early as the 2nd or 3rd) and I figure she's still about a month away.

In the mean time, Bara (WS Tyni) had a lot of fun this weekend, visiting the Castle at my friends' house:

    29. i ordered mine on jan 10th through dde but since i just got a shipping notice this last week for the pukipuki i ordered from them the end of october i'm thinking it's probably more like 2+ months. fairyland seems really backed up with all the tan orders they have done lately. if you ordered direct it might be faster though.

    30. Yeah I figured it would take them some time to get the tan dolls out so to let them catch up I did mine on a 4 month layaway I am 2/4 now so just figured it was worth a shot if anyone had received one I am so looking forward to seeing what my first real puki will look like in the tan color.

    31. We got our Rody's today[IMG]

    32. I can't wait to see it. I also ordered a tan Aki with face-up but n late January. I did not buy the sleeping faceplate as I would have wanted to make it a whole doll and being tan no shot of that so I did not buy it. Still debating wig and color at this time.

    33. LadyCrow I ❤️✌️Ramona 😗👼💖 and happy birthday from the H girls 🍰💐

    34. Thank you Aunt Bear, I did not know that there was such a thread. I have been looking at the photos now and will post my PoPo home there as well as my PukiPukis' home.

      Rita

    35. I went a bit wild... including the face up, a faced up sleeping plate, grasping hands... and a set each of two kinds of boots (not in tan because I'll paint or dye them)
I've been making clothes (Bara was a bit of a surprise, so they'll be sharing a lot of things) *buying* a lot of clothes, planning to make a little box into a portable "living room"... etc.

I crochet another tiny dress like the silk one, but in merino, this weekend, and now I'm planning a hat to go with it. I'm in the planning stages of doing some tiny hanbok (Korean custom dress) too.
I've been watching historical K-dramas on Netflicks (oooh they're SO addictive! ) and think I've figured out most of the outfit. (I know there's a full underskirt-petticoat, and some pantaloons underneath, but if there's anything else I'll need someone with more experience with this outfits to help me.) I've also found it interesting how the "waistline" for the dress has shifted over time, as apparently (though tv dramas aren't exactly documentation) the waist was at the actual waist and the blouse part was longer. now the "waist" is above the boosum, and the blouse is more of shrug.

OH and the cool thing: I'll probably be able to use wider ribbons as a fabric source for the hanbok at Real Puki size.

    36. Yeah I just ordered her wig today but not knowing the how she will look in tan exactly I am kinda having second thoughts but on the bright side I have another tiny I could swap the wigs with if need be. Denver doll said the doll will come in prior to the wig so I will most likely make her a fur or mohair wig to keep her happy until hers arrives. now just to figure out her clothes. ;)

    37. Experimental hanbok #1 (anyone more familiar with this mode of dress have any advice? I'm not sure how the ties are supposed to attach to the blouse)

    38. Just curious, what's a k-drama?...lol

    43. Opps, Korean Dramas/Soaps, usually TV series and there's a LOT of them on Netflicks.

    44. wow thankyou! I DO have the ties placed right! and yeah, I know at this size I've had to really simplify. Though I think the next one I'll have the sleeves cut out as a separate pieces so it lays and moves better.

There may be a RP size pattern posted here on DoA eventually. Once I'm totally and completely happy with the results. (Though since so much is based on simply "measure arms, measure shoulders, etc" a pattern that would work from measurments and be adjustable for any doll would be pretty easy. the skirt part is really simple, but there's SOOO much fabric to make it nice and billowy.)

    45. I haven't posted in a long while so I thought I would share a picture of Juniper Wanderweed who has decided he will be a pirate this week.

    49. Groan that is a Awesome bedroom boy Sven has there're 😗woo roo

    50. you could always check out what the tan looks like on some of the bigger dolls like pkf, ltf and mnf on either flickr or the various threads to see which wig colors work well with the tan. it has more of a red base than a yellow so i found that black, red brown (chestnut), teal, turquoise go well, but the blondes are iffy- only certain blondes work, some of them look horrible, and the golden brown colors tend to look a little dead on it too.

it looks really cute, just a suggestion have you considered using silk ribbon instead of satin for the skirt? it would be a bit more expensive but rps are so small you really wouldn't need that much and the drape is so much nicer than satin ribbon. you can always get it as plain white or cream too and dye it whatever color you want with dye or even food coloring and vinegar (that's cheaper than getting a bunch of different colors) and it's really easy to dye. i've done it lots in the past.

what a great background and i love the chair! is it playmobil too?

      perfect setting for a pirate

      he's a cutie

    51. OOoh! I'll have to find the silk ribbon. it isn't a common art supply here. (Google here I come!)

this week I worked on a tiny "flapper" dress and matching hat:

Bara is adorable, this is laceweight merino yarn, a #8 hook, and mostly crocodile stitch.

    52. you may find some place better, but i've bought the undyed stuff from silkribbons4u on etsy they have it in sizes from 1/8th inch/2mm wide to 2"/50mm wide just search their site for "natural" and "ivory" to find the dyeable stuff. you can get small quantities or spools.

you can sometimes find really good deals on e*ay too. i use the stuff all the time for my fine ribbons too on all my clothes pukifee and down, cause it drapes so much better than regular ribbon

    53. OOOh thankyou! I have to wait till pay day.

    54. It has been FOREVER since I've visited the RP thread but it is oh-so-much fun to catch up on :D

I missed seeing your lovely dresses and BJDs !
What an amazing pattern and finished dress :)
Cute pic - he looks quite happy with his cup :D

I don't have any new RP spam at the moment - we recently moved and not everything is where I want it ... have some old spam just for funz !!! Mouse is enjoying her hot cocoa but she's had enough of winter already ;)
