Likes: Everything that has to do with reading and literature. Especially poetry. Summer, flowers, high heels, beautiful clothes, colours, photography, art, spicy food, bad horror movies.
Dislikes: Loud people (especially in the library). Fears and hates all kinds of bugs, butterflies included. Hates early mornings and crafts, because she's really bad at both.
Personality: Gentle, quiet, shy and intelligent. Once she warms up and shakes her shyness, she's warm and humorous. She talks in a very small voice, but has very strong opinions and isn't afraid of telling them if she just feels comfortable doing so.


Short backstory:
Jemima was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to a very religious family of five: Jemima, her parents, grandmother and big brother Matthew. They all lived under the same roof until her parents got offered a great job in London - which they took. Jemima's grandmother, 84 years old, was too attached to US to go with them, and Jemima wanted to finish school in US, so they stayed behind and lived together. Five years later, when Jemima's grandmother passed quietly in her sleep, Jemima moved to London to be close to her parents and Matthew, who had since married a British woman.
Jemima has an autoimmune disorder, which means she gets sick very easily and even a slight cold is dangerous to her. She stays inside a lot and completes her university studies from home. She also earns some extra money by translating books from French to English or vice versa. But she wishes nothing else than to write books of her own; but at the moment, she doesn't have the time of energy to start.

She also suffers from poliosis, which means she lack pigment from the hair of her eyebrows and eyelashes.
Jemima's eyes also lack pigment, making them appear as a peachy/pink colour.​
