Yay new thread! Wish I had some spam to contribute, but I will happily enjoy everyone else's girls

 

Hello new thread! My only update is that I made my pretty envelope for putting my doll money in

MORE PICTURES PLEASE.

Also, guys, I don't know if I want my Vamp Goldie to be WS or NS ;-; Ahhhhhhhh..

Ananorah....Thank you, It was supposed to be more white according to the picture when I ordered it, but I think it still looks nice

Hypercurve, I really love the dress on your doll, so pretty

 

kodyodieo - Wow, now that is a wig! Is it hard to keep the curls in line? I've always wanted a beautifully styled wig for one of my girls but I'm terrified it'll just turn into a frizzy mess lol

Hypercurve - She's stunning as always! Blonde goes very well with that fantastic outfit. Dollheart really does the most detailed dresses, I'm envious of their attention to detail XD

 

Hypercurve - That. Is -really- nice. I'm so in love with Dollheart clothing, they do such a good job. There are soooo many outfits I wanna get from them. I really like the blonde with it too, karrigankat is right, it goes with it very nicely.

kodyodieo - It's too bad that it wasn't the same colour as pictured, but I think it's still really nice on your girl.

 

First--Yumishirol, I don't know how I missed your GORGEOUS Shaia on the previous posts, but I totally did! Oh wow! It looks like her face-up is like The Glamour style from a few years ago--she is just amazing. I do adore my tan version, and I think she gets a little bit of a bad rap because of her promo photos--her eyes are a little wonky on the PW website, poor girl. But she has such an amazing face, I think. I love her dress, too--I think it's Clovera's dress, isn't it? It reminds me of Alice!

BTW--if anyone is looking to add a Shaia to his or her collection immediately--my tan girl isn't for sale, but I believe I've seen one in the marketplace for some time. I know the seller, and he's not only a great guy, but he's got a great price, too. I hope this is OK for me to post--it's not my listing, but since it was mentioned, I figured I could point it out. (And yes, I did check the rules first.)

I have a version of Viyol with a similar coloring face-up--well, back in the day when PW would do different face-ups for you--I asked them to do Viyol with a Glamour style face-up as well. Here is a quick shot:

First, about the Dollzone clothing ... the dress is a little bit loose around the chest. And yes, it's Clovera I don't have any other dresses from DZ, so I can't say for sure if they fit better. Angell-Studio clothing fits pretty nicely, I just got their amazing wedding gown for Shaia!

Alington: Ahh, thank you! It was your Shaia which convinced me to buy mine, haha! And wow, your Viyol is just stunning. The faceup is wonderful. Your PW collection makes me really jealous

I generally don't like this type of dolls, BUT I wouldn't mind owning A.B/FOC Bella the Moon - Into the Woods.. Seriously I don't like molds that look too childish or unrealistic but Bella. Suppose it's the company pictures and that wonderful face up and those white eyelashes? She's even high enough to be part of my doll family.. must resist!

 

alington - your Viyol is simply stunning. Glamorous is the perfect description for her! A Viyol may have to come home as my second PW girl, somehow I have a feeling one won't be enough XD

YumiShiroi - Wow, what a dress! Your girl is so delicate and just perfection.

I'm so anxious to put my girl on layaway. Despite some unexpected expenses (furnace broke... $600 later...) I should still be on track to start it in April

 

YumShiroi, Oh my--Angell Studio fits? Ack! They often have outfits in stock at Mint on Card, and I have been drooling over them for ages. I just never wanted to go there just in case too many adjustments were needed! Shaia as a bride... oh, she is perfect. Just wonderful! I love her "something blue."

Ginka, Bella the Moon is certainly different than the others--that full-set called to me for sure. I think you should just give in and get her, LOL! She's so sultry, I think, and sort of, well, maybe a little snooty looking? I just ADORE her. I cannot wait!

 

Karrigankat: trust me, one is never enough. I thought the same when I got my WU Goldie and now ... heh.

Hypercurve: Oh, I can't wait! PW Girls look always stunning in DH clothing. And your Yeru is so cute, too!

Alington: well, large bust fits. A-S clothing is really pretty, so I recommend to buy one, if you have the money! I wish I could order from Mint on Card, too. But I'm from Europe, so it's kinda complicated ...

btw, I love PW's customer service. They're always so nice, fast and understanding.

I have been looking for several of the DH Fer outfits for like forever and I finally got 2 of them this week!!!




I am kind of addicted to DH outfits anyway.....LOL! But the Fer outfits are wonderful!

Beth L - Oh, wonderful! I love your new Fers. They are gorgeous. I had a black one for a while, but I ended up selling it. It really gave me anxiety attacks doing all those buttons. (But then... I saw there was a limited edition aqua one, and now I'm tempted again!)

Hypercurve, I adore this outfit. It is so cute!

I've found a body for the head I bought from etsy, she is a Sky with a beautiful faceup by Tanyastyle and I have put her on an older Custom House body which matches really well. She is my one and only SD and I have no idea what to buy to fit her, but meanwhile she is wearing a dress made by the person who sold me her body and her wig is by Peakswood

Thankyou. I just couldn't resist her when I saw her fs even though I don't collect big dolls. She'll probably be my only larger girl though, she's soooo big compared with my other dolls!!!

 

Wow, I've always thought that Sky is one of the cutest girls from PW but your lovely lady really makes me want one. She is amazing!

 

Oh wow--kayjay, your girl is truly gorgeous. Sky was my first SD-sized BJD (my first ABJD, actually), and I have a special fondness for her. Yours has such an amazing face-up! She looks so sad! Oh, I just love her.

So much has gone on in the last little bit that I've missed! So many nice pictures! You guys are killin' me, haha. I can't wait to get my girl.. (Had to use some of my money for her on groceries..) I've also just realized when I get my tax return I can put all of that money towards my goldie. Yay.

kayjay - Your sky is so beautiful, I love how much expression she shows- that's a really complimentary faceup for her! Plus, her dress is just really cute.

Hypercurve - That set is SO PRETTY. I can't wait to collect DH outfits, I've been oogling them for so long now.. SOEXCITED. Plus, those colours look just great with your Yeru's wig.

Beth L - Ahhh! Your girls are so cute in their fers! I'm definitely gonna have to try hard to get my girl one of those, they're so cute. I never considered the button factor about them, but, I'm pretty patient with stuff like that so I'm not too worried haha.

YumiShiroi - You're killing me with these photos! They're -so- cute. I'm definitely planning Shaia as my second dolly purchase, no matter what. Your dolls are just SO. PRETTY. Also, it's really good to hear that PW has really good customer service- it seemed to me that they did, but seeing as I've never ordered from there before I was kind of worried in the back of my mind. I'm not so much anymore! I'm only filled with anticipation for the day when I finally get to start my order.

Karrigankat - Looks like we both got sucked into wanting more than one dolly, hey?! Oh goodness. It's okay though. Right? Really sorry about your furnace, but heating is very important so you shouldn't feel bad about having to spend your money on it. You'll be putting in your order before you even know it! (lol just kidding it's still gonna feel like forever )

 

Kodyoeieo, your Viyol is adorable! Your girls have the cutest face-ups. I love how your girl here has her lips almost painted closed. It's so fun!

alington - All your girls look so nicely dressed. A proper display area is something that I need to get working on for my growing little family. Your tan Yeru is amazing. And I see absolutely nothing wrong with painting your walls to match eye colours at all! Has to be one of my favourite colours too!

Ananorah - Haha yeah! I don't think one will be enough. Tossing up between Viyol, Yeru and Shaia as my next.
Having to fix the furnace sucks without a doubt, but everything will work out in the end. Living expenses are always more important than dolls unfortunately! But I'm back at work full time so I'm still on track to start a layaway the first of April

My girl is finally finished and ready to be shared. I've had her since November, but she needed her wig and outfit, and it was only recently, I got it.
Her name is Rachel, she's 19 years old and studying to become a doctor.

I just ordered Lavin with an absolute beauty body type b on layaway. She's going to be my first BJD Where can I find clothes that would fit her? Will ordinary FOC clothes fit?

 

DollifiedStephanie....I get a lot of my clothes on ebay, I also have worked with seamstresses to make some for me. You can check on the marketplace as well, there is a nice selection there. Kodyodieo Thank you! I shall check out eBay. I am also considering having a seamstress make one for me. I liked a lot of clothes from DollHeart! But what SD size would fit an Absolute Beauty body?

I am kind of having second thoughts with Lavin. Do Peak's Woods allow order changes? Which head would you recommend? Iam somehow torn between Shaia, Goldie, Lavin and Mintie. If you have more photos of Shaia, Lavin and Mintie, please share I rarely see photos of them. Thanks!

 

DollifiedStephanie....Once you placed a order, they usually wont change it. If you didn't order a doll with a Face up, they may be willing to exchange heads, but all dolls are custom so if you ordered her with the face up, they wont likely change her. You may want to contact Dollheart and ask about the dress you want to order, they will know if it will fit your doll. I don't own the 3 dolls you mentioned but I am sure someone else will post them for you

 

Akatsuki--your Rachel is adorable! (Is she the Viyol sculpt? You don't see her very often--she is just amazing!)

koyodieo--Vampire Goldie is gorgeous, too. I can't believe that was her default wig! Wow--beautiful!

DollifiedStephanie, you'll love Lavin. She's beautiful. Also, be sure to check out Peak's Woods site, too. I find they have pretty good prices on Nine9 Style outfits that work well for those AB bodies, too. Depending on what styles you're looking for, I find that SD13 clothing with a little stretch in the bust and waist (they are a little more narrow in the waist) will work well. Large bust AB can also wear SD16, but are a bit shorter. DollHeart has a specific AB-size in a couple of their outfits. SD10 is too large in the waist, and SD13 is just a little large in the waist. Some SD16 is a little long, but fits well, I find, especially with heel feet and shoes.

I am stunned by this pic just in love with your dolls, can't stop staring at them putting those outfits together with complementary wigs is lovely a brilliant advert for their clothing, they should give you a discount because I think many will want them from seeing this photo.

 

kodyodieo I contacted Peak's Woods and they agreed to change the head I ordered into Goldie! I also requested them to do a custom face-up. I love Peak's Woods customer service! They are very accommodating I also asked DollHeart and they said SD 13 or 10 sized clothes would fit best.

Hypercurve Thank you! I checked out their website and they have very nice clothes! But I am from the Philippines so if ever I will buy something from Volks, it has to be from the International website. I have yet to check their shipping rates.

I am debating whether or not I should get Rogita's dress in black (http://peakswoods.net/shop/step1.php?number=1612). Peak's Woods said there is one last stock available. I really liked the pink version but it's sold out already.

It is hard to tell if it is just her face up or if she is a new sculpt like Rogita. Rogita looks just like Goldie with a few tweaks and those same type of lips. I have Kisha and she is gorgeous in person. She is sort of a mix between Skiya and Sky.

 

She kinda looks like a tanned Rogita with much different faceup to me, but she's gorgeous! I want to see more!

Holy crap! I adore her. Did you check Peak's Woods site this morning? It's Bella the Moon with her lips painted closed. I love her. She and her cohort--who I also adore--Redesigned Lottie--are going on sale March 22 - April 22 (with a 5% discount during the first week). They can be ordered a la carte or with outfits, which are pretty steep $221--yikes. But they are designed by Corona, who also did Kisha and Rogita's first outfits, too. I have Kisha's and it's really top quality and fit--designed for the normal bust.

I don't know how I'm going to pass a tan redesigned Lottie up!
