Wigs Licht Wigs

Jan 31, 2013

1. I'd like to see more owner pics of Licht wigs.

I got some, like them, and I want to get more in the future. So many irrational wants for the cotton candy colored wig... :doh

I'd love to see owner pics of blackish green. I wanted to get that during their sale, but it was sold out in all the styles I wanted. :(

Well, here's the ones I have. Blackish blue is about the color it looks in their photos. This is style L-236 in 9-9.5". The clip-in ponytail is interesting. It's cut to three different lengths.

[IMG] [IMG]

Natural black is a lot more brown in person. The style is A-3 in 7-8"

2. This is X-Mas Limited [L-190] in Sweet Candy (8-9inch) with pigtails from [L-522] in Sakura Pink (8-9inch) :D
I love their colours~<3

3. I ordered a few wigs from them and I really love it.

L-236 natural black(it has an extension pony tail I didn't really attach)

L-217 Cappuccino

4. I ordered 5 wigs from them during the Christmas sale and will definitely be coming back for more.

This one is so soft! This particular color is limited but the wig itself is available normally, so I'll definitely be getting more.

This one is a substitute wig. I initially ordered A-7 in Capacchino but they told me they were sold out. At the time I didn't have a photo reference for the color but went with what sounded nice, and it looks almost exactly as I had pictured it, lol.

5. I have A-3 in Blue. It photographs blue but in person it is definitely a teal color. It's very nice quality though.

6. I bought three more wigs!

The side fringe is waaaay to long on this one, it's as if they forgot to cut it to size. The tails are also extremely long but you can see that in the promotional photos. This is my first wig with clip-ons and I love it. I also blindly went with this color because there were no examples of it to be found.

I just had to get another color in this style.

Licht warned me about this particular wig, and it's true, the elastic doesn't have much give. But it's still very nice.

8. Limited ice inflamation, in person just as nice as the company pics. The color underneath is a dark purple.

9. I love your girl's tattoos!

Here are my two Licht wigs, both L-074:

1) Natural black (it really is brown):
It has a lot of flyaways. I tried smoothing them with a bit of hair glue but it made it too spikey. But it's good I can get that.

Sky blue (after spiking):
Also after adjusting the white balance. The color is more like this:

10. [IMG]

This is L-316 in size 6-6.5 for Yo-SD/Unoa. It's a two-tone color called "Milk pudding". The bottom layer is blond, with light brown on top. Wonderful quality, super soft hair that is easy to style! :D I'm very happy with the wig!

11. All these wigs are right out of the box - I didn't style them other than smoothing down the stray hairs with a wig brush. Size 6-6.5 fits great on a small Rosette head and is stretchy enough to stay put on the smaller MiniFee heads (Mirwen, for example), but will be too small for bigger-headed MiniFees (Miyu, Rheia).

--------------
Q-10 in Natural Black (size 6-6.5).

The fringe is nicely scaled - as you can see, it does not cover her eyes. The wig is actually very dark brown, not black. The quality is good - fibers are decently soft (though, not as soft as Monique wigs) and the hair stays put without annoying flyaways. The wig cap is not visible.

Karina got a new wig! by ☆☆Anna☆☆, on Flickr

L-038 in Honey Peach (size 6-6.5 inches)

Again, the fringe is nicely scaled. The color is not as vivid as it is on the official pictures, but it’s comparable. The fibers are decently soft and wig cap is not visible. This wig will require some work and possibly a styling product to look like it does on the official pictures.

L-034 NC in Dream Pink (size 6-6.5 inches)

The fringe is a bit longer on this wig than the other Licht wigs of this size, but still doesn't cover the doll's eyes. The color is pretty much exactly like it is on official pictures, perhaps a touch darker. The quality is great - fibers are very soft - the softest out of all my Licht wigs so far! - and the hair stays put without annoying flyaways. The wig cap is not visible. This wig scales down very well and requires no styling at all to look like the official pictures!

12. L-034 in Angel white color

I have several wigs from Licht but this is my favourite so far. It is very soft and easy to style despite the length of the hair, and it looks like in the official pictures.

13. For the dark wigs, is the wig cap nude or black? I'm looking for companies that have dark wigs with nude wig caps.

14. I'm going to have to chime in and say that while the fiber quality of Licht wigs are very good and soft and easy to handle, the colors are not always corresponding to the ones on the company site. I have order several wigs from them but in 3/4 cases, I have been dissapointed with the color. The ones online seems much more vivid than in person, and sometimes even the hue is very off (i.e. ordered a deep "caramel" reddish brown wig, came light yellow-ish tan instead). The elastic quality is also variable, some looser and some tighter. Wig cap shows in wigs with long fringes/bangs.

15. The wig cap is black.

16. L-038 9-9.5 inch, honey pink (not as much white on the bottom like in the photo, but okay)

19. I got some more licht wigs.

L-19 in natural black... seems blacker than the other natural black wig I got before.

20. Hi! I was hoping that someone could possibly help me out. I've been seriously contemplating purchasing a Licht wig however I'm not sure how elastic the wigs are. I have a doll that can fit in 8-9 range if the cap is quite stretchy and looks best, but if not, I may need to go for the 9-9.5 size.

How does the Licht wig cap compare in terms of the Leeke wig cap? Is it as stretchy? Does the Licht 8-9 seem the same more or less as the Leeke 8-9?

Thank you so much!

21. Licht wigs are on the tight side.
They are tighter than Leeke wigs as far as my experience goes, i.e. Leeke 8-9 are a tiny bit loose on my Volks girls, Licht 8-9 wigs fit them snugly (Licht 8-9 wigs are perfect for most big-headed Volks heads like Creamy Mami, DWC#2 etc., I think, also they fit my Kujo Kazuya perfectly)
But it's not a big difference with the 8-9 wigs, it's more prominent with 7-8 wigs.
Do Leeke wigs fit loosely on your doll's head or do you have to stretch it much? If you can fit a headcap or velcro beneath a Leeke wig, you can buy the 8-9 Licht wig I think, if it's difficult to fit a Leeke wig on your doll's head maybe you should try 9-9.5. (I have never bought a 9-9.5 wig, so that's only a guess)

I won't take any responsability, it's just my personal experience, I don't have many 8-9 heads ^^".

I have a few Licht wigs (more on the way *lol, I really like them), but I don't know the model and colour, if you want information you can contact me and I will look them up. But most of them aren't available anymore anyway...

22. I don't have to stretch my present Leeke wigs by that much but it was definitely a concern for Licht as I've had wigs in the past that lacked any elasticity in the cap.

I can fit a headcap and velcro beneath a Leeke wig, this is for my Suiseiseki who isn't as big-headed as my Megu. My Megu would definitely require the 9-9.5 though and I've made the mistake of taking advantage of the elasticity of the Leeke wigs by an 8-9 Leeke wig on Megu only to find it easily stretched out shortly after and unusable for my other SD. @.@ Because this is for Suiseiseki, I'm going to go ahead and order 8-9 from Licht soon.

Thank you so much for your insight regarding Licht wigs and your pictures showcasing Licht's gorgeous colors.

23. Bump! I was wondering about Unoas and the sizing of Licht wigs. Would a 6-6.8 be the best size?

24. I have one wig of Litch, I don't know the model. Does not appear in the website.

Size, 7-8

25. I don't know exactly what my wigs are, I got them their recent grab bag event, but these are mine. All 8-9 size
Shown on my dod ean

This is one of the ponytail wigs that doesn't really stretch at all. It's an 8/9 and fits on my small headed DOD girl, but I couldn't stretch it on my f65.
I also wasn't impressed with this wig at all. :/ The hair on the side of the head that was being "pulled back" into the pony tail was all horridly crinkly messy broken fibers. There was barely a layer of "nice" hair over top with wefts of ruined fibers underneath. It's like they thought they could get away using a "ruined" weft by just covering it with a good one.
The wig looks ok from the front, but I'll never be able to take photos of it from the side :( which means never showing off the cute ponytail.

26. I had a few Licht wigs through my house, all 6-6.8. The cyan and black one was purchased, it's L-421NC. The others came from two grab bags. The quality was mostly nice, with one horrendous exception.

This wig came out of the bag as a rectangle. It is just a matted mess of curled fibers, damn near felted in some places. I'm in the process of straightening it. :doh

27. I have the L-398 this one on Aeryn is 8-9 size and I did also get the grey and green 7-8 size.

28. Hi all, thanks for contributing all the informative and beautiful Licht wig photos and advice!

29. Bumping in hopes to see more licht wigs :D

30. I have a few on my Unoa

This one had that long streak\rattail thing. I cut it shorter....

I have a couple more 8-9s but no pictures. I love them though, they're great quality and so far no color has rubbed off on any dolls or doll items.

31. I love that greeny pink wig! I really want it for a doll I don't even have yet ^^; your unoa is adorable!!

32. I've got several Licht wigs for my tinies:

Thank yous :)

34. I've had these wigs for almost a year now, but I've just taken some reference photos so I thought I would share. All of these are size 9-9.5", they are a little loose on my DD Mirai but still look fine.

35. 439 in 3S Blue color (size 8-9) I braided a strand, but otherwise the wig is unchanged:

On the official pics this one is quite a bit lighter than in real life - the teal/grey top layer is much more prominent.

36. Just wondering since no one really mentioned about the overall quality from the company, how is it? I kept seeing all of the nice photos of the wig and only read one wig which is super soft (the fuzzy hair)

How is the wig compared to leekwigs since I got most of my wigs from leek :) I have also tried lullabypoem but don't fancy them at all.
