Aw I love first page spam, everyone's dolls look so great! I sent my girl Linnet away today to get a face-up, so this is the last photo for awhile. I also ordered her more clothes...

Dustbunnie Clara is a Cavalier! They are such a great breed There are just too many cute Pukifees to choose from, now...

Asako That is about as close as Clara is going to get to Linnet, she is fond of chewing things and has already tried stealing her shoes. I don't want to deal with a pet/doll accident, I've seen too many other horror stories on here!!

as always, i'm enjoying all the great first page spam

but a retrospective on another thread, plus megdalena's pictures of cyns "new' look got me playing around with old pictures and seeing how much some of my dolls have changed over time (and how little others have) the one that went through the biggest change has probably been noni who turned into wisp

which made me curious. how much or how little have your dolls changed since you got first got them? faces/wigs/characters or even sculpts changed? or are they pretty much the same? (noni's character will be reappearing later but as a bonnie sculpt) if you have pictures then and now that would be even better

Has anyone seen glasses for Pukifee?

 

vertefae : I know Monstro Designs on etsy sells some. You could always steal a pair from a Monster High doll as well. Ghoulia's glasses fit pretty well, but you'd probably want to pop the lenses (if that's possible) if your PKF has lashes.

 

Can I ask for some Pukifee with a Minifee spam?

Auntbear That's perfect. I just wanted to see the size ratio. -sighs and shuffles off to add two Pukifees to the list- They, like....multiply.

 

I have some sunglasses for mine that came from a Bratz boy doll, but not regular glasses.

Ume & I will be posting something soon, I'm currently fighting off the "Cold from Hell"
I seem to have purchased a virus at the doll meet last weekend. (I had fun, went right to bed when I got home and woke up "coming down with something" the next day,
that hit me really hard the day after that. )

Ume will also want to introduce a new buddy who arrived while I've been in bed being a lump.

 

I don't have a pukifee to share yet, but she is ordered. I have a question though: What size eyes do your pukifees wear? I know they come with 8mm ones, but I had read somewhere that some people use 10mm. Thanks in advance!

 

I don't suppose anyone had the fullset pukifee Cupid wings and can show me how they go on? The fairyland pictures are anything but clear!

 

Bearpicnic, my girls all wear 10mm Safrindolls acrylics. She has very vivid colors, and the selection is fantastic. I definitely recommend them.

Pukifee default eyes are 10mms, not 8mms - the 8mms are in PukiPukis.

Hi everyone! I'm new to the PKF Discussion thread. I just got my girl on X-mas, but I've been so busy with other commissions that I didn't get to paint her until today.

Here is my beautiful little girl, Bambi. She is a Pukifee Multihead Ante~

I just got my minifee so please excuse her crazy eyes as we're waiting for her new eyecandy ones to come in. Poor thing is swamped by pukifee and a pukipuki.

Oops, I was reading the multihead number. So I guess my question is: does anyone use 12mm eyes in their pukifee or does people generally stick with the 10mm ones?

nana-kaa, your photo of your fairyland family is lovely!

 

Jainatina- She looks like she's getting a warm welcome!

nana-kaa- I agree, a lovely family. Chloe is definitely my favorite sculpt.

Bearpicnic- I think the 12mm might fill too much of the eye, or leave almost no whites showing, but I'm not positive. My Crobi TLine has eyes that do that and she kinda looks like a puppy.

 

I've put in 10mm and 08mm in the Pukifee heads. I think 08mm iris with a larger base would be just perfect, but 10mm works as well.

 

bearpicnic. people usually do the 10mm and then go 8 if they want to look a little older. if you want a bigger looking eye a dark colored 10 looks visually bigger and would probably fit better than a 12

 

My girls wear 10mm custom eyes and they look great.

For the pukifee eyes, My girl use 10 mm. I had try 8 mm, it's too small and you can see the gab on the side of eyes hole. And for 12 mm., it's too big, you can't see the white eyes at all.

CuteOne Gosh, Rinnie and Malaren are adorable! Love those two! It's funny how the name Malaren reminds me of the third-largest lake in Sweden called Mälaren -giggles-
