Backstory: As a young man in 19th century Scotland, Jack was wooed by a small gang claiming to be fighting for independence from English rule, though they were really just a bunch of trouble makers. They convinced him to use his chemistry skills to help them blow up a public building, then sold him out when they were caught. Jack went to the gallows wishing death on each of them, and the strength of his regret and hatred allowed him to be resurrected by a necromancer. He was allowed to exact his revenge on those who had wronged him, in exchange for his undying servitude.
Since then he's been working as part of her undercover agency as the explosives expert, over time regaining his cheerful personality and letting go of his hate. Since the 1990s his partner has been hacker and hikikomori extrodinaire Hiro, who he gets on very well with despite their quite different personalities, they bond over geeky things.

Nothing too glamorous. He's from a well off family- Parents are always traveling for business so his brothers Pheonix and Isaac take care of him, though Phoenix is a far better care taker- he learns more from him, Like the value of a dollar and perseverance. In the summer he lives in his house in America, during school he lives in japan and obviously attends public school there though he's 100% American. Other than that he's a simple, polite, scene kid in high school. ​

Personality: "Chaotic Good." Carson is a calm, "speak when spoken to" kind of person when in the presence of others, but often prefers to work alone because while he genuinely cares for the safety of every one of his fellow travelers, he is not above what would be considered "morally questionable" actions by the rest of the group, and he finds that their reactions to his tactics often gets in the way of the ultimate goal of the mission: Staying alive. While other members lead the group, he is often many yards ahead of, behind, or to the sides of them, anticipating and intercepting anyone who would harm the group before they can act. He is often seen as "Loyal", "self-reliant" and "kind of a loner" by his peers. He is sociable, just not overly so.

Backstory: (years into the future, this is a long one, sorry.) Carson was born to a loving family on a military base on the United States' west coast. His childhood was peppered with seemingly random moves from base to base, which contributed to his inability to settle down anywhere. After his father was discharged, they bought a home in a quiet suburb. He maintained good marks in school and kept busy with extracurricular activities such as Jiujitsu, Boy Scouts and Rifle Team to quell his wanderlust. While his family was supportive and loving, they were also seen as a little eccentric. They always had large stocks of weapons, food and survival equipment "For that one day when all goes to hell and we have to make a stand." Many of the neighbors had labeled the family as trouble, and so Carson had few friends, but was still considered "a good kid" by his teachers and coaches. He was already lined up to join the military like his father, and absorbed his father's knowledge like a sponge. During the fall of his junior year of highschool, the Last War broke out. The effects were instantaneous. All of the great powers of the world began to attack each other, leveling entire cities and ultimately leaving survivors to fend for themselves against starvation, plague, nature and each other. Carson's family maintained their "compound" for the remainder of the year before their stronghold was finally overpowered. Ordinary citizens, turned rabid by desperation and hunger, stormed the compound in force. Carson's father and mother were murdered in the ensuing chaos. Despite the loss, Carson stuck to protocol and, through defensive maneuvers he helped create, held the compound admirably until he was finally overcome and gravely injured by shrapnel, rendering him deaf, blind and maimed. He was left for dead amid the corpses of his family and what used to be his peers and neighbors. When a roving military cell bent on restoring peace happened through the still smoking rubble, they made to burn the bodies of the fallen to prevent the spread of plague when Carson was discovered to be still alive, if just barely. A member of the cell had enough faith in the boy to bring him to base, where his brain function, vision and hearing were not only restored, but augmented significantly with bio mechanical enhancements. Upon recovery, he joined the cell and participated in countless missions across many continents. In his travels he had his facial scarring covered by skeletal tattoos more as a intimidation tool than for any artistic reason. As the world population dwindled further through the next couple years, the cell disbanded, all hope for saving humanity lost. Weary and hardened from war, Carson, his mentor soldier and a combat surgeon went off as a group with the intention of making the best impact they could in what was left of the world when they found themselves escorting a group of pacifists indefinitely, protecting them from harm while they searched for an end to all human suffering.​

Any additional info/backstory: Ki-Hwa is part of a kpop group called Sarang. He attended school with his fellow members, KC and Min-Jae. He has always been a little on the small side which led to bullying. Lucky for Ki-Hwa, KC and Min-Jae stood up for him in times of need. He also has his mother to thank for his current career path. After hearing his sweet singing around the house, Ki-Hwa's mother pushed him to train his voice and to eventually try out for an idol group. Currently, he is the second vocal to Sarang's leader, Min-Jae. When not practicing, shooting dance videos or attending publicity functions, Ki-Hwa enjoys visiting local markets for tasty goodies and cute plushies. At home, Ki-Hwa can be found in the common room, watching music videos and often mimicking the dancing he sees. He is especially good at girl group dances. Wherever his fellow group mate KC is, Ki-Hwa usually won't be far behind, as they are constant companions and have known each other since elementary school. His favorite animal is the octopus.
