So... there are plenty of jrock/anime/manga dolls out there... but what about dolls outside of those fandoms? I am a huge Star Wars geek at heart and chances are, Rufus will cosplay a Jedi one of these days. I already have lightsabers for him XD Sooo... does anyone out there have Star Wars-related dolls? X3 Jedi, sith, rebels, stormtroopers, Amidala cosplay... I want to see it allll XD
Here are a few photos of my boy in a Jedi outfit. As you can tell, he's a big fan of Obi-wan! XD "These aren't droids you are looking for." *Jedi hand waves!*
My sewing skills are still not quite up to making Luke's default clothes -- but to try to get myself motivated I made this Stars Wars photostory. http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127246 Here - as a sort of teaser is Luke in his most Star Wars like outfit to-date, but it's an interpretation of Star Wars style not a duplicate of any movie costume. Photograph by starstarchan.
http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139123 Luke finally has his Empire Strikes Back outfit! I'm just waiting for a few components to put his utility belt together. As you can see I got the spoon apart (it wasn't hard actually.) Luke's friend Windy is wearing one of my attempts at Star Wars style that isn't a direct copy of any particular costume.
Will send you post of my girl's new Jedi Vestments when I get home this evening. I had a tailor in Istanbul make them and he did a GREAT job. He usually makes 1/6 size Jedi clothes for dolls and action figures so I would imagine that the 1/4 size gave him fits. But his seams are SO straight and small and the material is simply wonderful. - ShadowHawke -
I was wondering if there was already a thread! Man, this is old; there should be more in here! My Puki Piki-- Balom Rivett-- has a set of robes for himself! Unfortunately, he isn't complete-- no wig-- but here's a teaser photo of him in his lekku. I'll post better ones up later! ((Outfit and lekku crafted by the wonderful T4124.)) And one super old one from just after I got him without faceup, lightsaber, or proper eyes, but it DOES show the whole outfit:
Seeing as I am a huge Star Wars fan I would really love to see any and all things Star Wars. It doesn't matter if it's the actual doll or even a cosplay of a particular character! So, bring me all your Star Wars dollies! May the force be with you!
So who else is getting excited to see Episode I in theaters again? ^_^ Sure brings back memories. I was in high school when it first came out. My friends & I actually cut school that day to be first to see it early opening morning. XD I had only been a Star Wars fan since the mid-'90's, but with all the hype surrounding the prequels it felt like I'd been waiting 20 years along with the older fans. Star Wars was the first thing I ever totally geeked out about, and while I've been away from the fandom for some years now (I'm just now starting to catch up again on the Expanded Universe...whoa I've missed a lot! lol) it's still near & dear to my heart. /end fangirl rant This thread is truly full of win. Everyone's costumes & props look great. I don't have anything SW-related handmade for my BJDs (yet lol), but I recently rediscovered an Episode II Anakin fashion doll I had packed away and was happy to find his outfit fits my little Leeke boy. :3
The Force Awakens...OMG I LOVED it! Here are two of my Star Wars BJD Kylo Ren 328 by wendy jungschlager, on Flickr General Hux 327 by wendy jungschlager, on Flickr 315 by wendy jungschlager, on Flickr Kylo is not completely done yet, I am working on his mask and commisioned an awesome seemstress for his movie outfit. Aaaah cant wait! ^^
My little Jedi. She also has a padawan wig but I like this one better. I'm working on a cloak still. @Ravenlily - I saw your thread in the gallery but I'm excited to hear you are working on a mask! I can't wait to see that.
After a two year wait (stupid freakin' pandemic!), my Padawan, Vhei-wen (Vay-when) Zar'lendaa is finally home! He's a transboy as well as a WIP, so I'll be posting the occasional pic as I work on sewing his Jedi robes. Vhei-wen started out as a Doll Chateau Nicola-A fullset. Vhei-wen in his fullset by Ryuichi Sakuma, on Flickr Vhei-wen graduated from a youngling to a Padawan, so he has his Jedi braid and lightsaber. I may change the color of his lightsaber later on down the line, but for now, its Skywalker green. Vhei-wen gets his Jedi braid by Ryuichi Sakuma, on Flickr Ryu
Here's my nerdy goth girl, Autumn, cosplaying as a Jedi for Star Wars Day last year! Lightsaber is a light-up chopstick! PXL_20230504_221004298.PORTRAIT by Scrunch, on Flickr
