Here's a bad picture I found of Adrien in his Sasuke cosplay. He needs a better wig for it...someday.

 

Terrible picture, especially considering he's incredibly WIP... he just popped out of the box today and so is missing most of his outfit, his real wig, the right sized eyes, and a proper faceup...



Itachi and Kisame, since OTPs are meant to be together always. I'm actually really impressed with how deadpan and unamused the Piccolo sculpt is all on its own.

 

Oooh, Blakrose, I saw some of your Gaaras at Otakon last year! You could always sand down the Xi's chin to make it a little rounder, but I really like the eyes and lips. Some of the Soulkids could work too - it might be easier to get that kabuki paint to photograph well on the flatter-profile Asian faces. (lol, kabuki paint looks kind of odd on me from certain views because the angles of my face are different or something) I saw someone with a miniature Karasu puppet once, and thought it would be fantastic for a Kankurou BJD. ^^

But here's my submission to the thread - BJD Kimimaro! Now I have the urge to make him fight BJD Gaara (and they're both Toos..) ... ignore the crappy eyes, btw - I made them myself from scrap plastic because it was kind of a last-minute costume. ^^; He has proper eyes on order. I ended up liking his hair and makeup so much that I think I'll keep it this way.





I'm working on stickybacked bone weapon pieces so he looks more dangerous. ^^;

 

Totally forgot to post a finished pic of him here, but this is my darling oh so precious Itachi after recieving his new faceup from the ladies over at Rose Coloured Philanthropist.



I'm now seriously brainstorming ideas for making him a matching Kisame.

Thank you. Karasu was very hard to make and his paint took a month to dry, no sarcasm there. He earned the nickname Mr. Sticky. I am NEVER EVER making my own doll again. He was very hard, I have very bad hand/eye coordination and Super sculptey is not the nicest stuff to mess with.

Anyway, I like the way he turned out. Even though I have to restring him, since I sort of blew his foot up in the oven, I was trying to dry him. I made a new foot and I still haven't put it on.

I painted Kankuro myself, something else I never ever want to do again. Now I know why I send them out to be painted. That is very hard. I have new respect for face up artists. I will stick to sewing.

I need to make Temari's time jump outfit now.

What sort of underwear do you think Sand Ninja girls wear? She deffinately needs something in those short skirts.

It's not a specific character, but I wanted Ichigo to dress up as a ninja for Nekocon/Halloween. I finished the final part of his outfit today. The only thing he's missing, is a tiny kunai.

I have Sasori and Deidara.


been meaning to make them Akatsuki coats for ages, but I got burnt out making human-sized ones so Dei's in his flashback outfit and Saso runs around in what he wears under his coat. I realize his tie thing was white but.. I like red. So.. artistic license.

 

Mine too! Sasori's one of the coolest characters ever! He's the entire reason I got into bjds!

I actually modded a girl body for Sasori because I'm better at subtractive sculpting than additive and I figured that way it would mesh better with the original resin, so his little heart dealy is actually carved out of a breast

With the stomach I just cut out the center (I actually am still in the process of sanding that down better because hacksaws don't want to cut rounded edges) and while I want to someday have his stomach coil function, for now I have a spool of metallic lanyard in there. XD

The only other reasonably decent picture I have of him right now is this one:



I only recently got his 'heart' thingy to a point where I considered it reasonably decent so all my older photos are kinda outdated.

 

Not my dolls, but there was someone at Tokyo Dolpa who had a fantastic Naruto crew.

It started out at DP 15 with just Iruka-

 

I love Sasori, and the carving his mods out of unneeded breasts was an awesome idea.

This is a mockup for my future Uchiha Itachi doll.
He will be created with the same head with some modifications, but I wanted to be sure the head would work for him ^^

Itachi will be inspired after Lily's fanart and not Itachi from the anime/manga.

Well, I own my little shinobis for some time already and though have finished all the details, I still don't have better photos than this So, these are my Neji Hyuga - Ringdoll Valo hybrid, and TenTen - FL mnf Shushu ^^

 

Oh I've always intended to post a picture of Deidara here but I completely forgot until now. The sculpt is chosen with the intention of a realistic interpretation of his features so this is not a cosplay. The doll is meant to actually be Deidara. It's hard to see from this angle but his mouth is also painted in a way to resemble his characteristic smirk (yes he does smirk differently, Kishimoto is good at these things). His eyes are also painted to emphasize their sharp angle. He's not finished of course. He still needs this chest tattoo, arm stitches, and mouths modded onto his hands.

Here is Hashirama (Unidoll Rio) and his wife, Mito (Limhwa Half Elf), belong to Lady Mordor. Cosplay isn't perfect, but we can't give the go-by so unusual pair when both persons have very strong character!

The most difficult problem was his Hokage-hat and kanji on it)))

Love the Deidara characteristics, I saw it and the first thing I thought of was Deidara not just a cosplay, awesome look.

 

I want to see more!!! I want to make a little ninja gang of my own, but I don't know what size. I love how the little ones look, but I love MSD because they can look more mature. That and I think it would be easier to make detailed msd clothes rather than yo-sd

 

I wonder if anyone has a doll that is time-jump Neji?
