Everyone's photos are so darling. We just got back from a week long trip to Pennsylvania where we hit the fairy jackpot. I came home with a bag of tiny stuff.

Some autumn spam from today's lunch break.



Tari says this wig would keep her head (and ears) warm in the winter, but it is so heavy, that I had a hard time to make her sit. I also knitted her a decent scarf - but either she doesn't like it and she's hidden it somewhere, or she gave it to some unknown little friend...

 

I can understand the mistake. When I was taking photos to list my original RP woman, a Soso, for sale, I experimented with tying her normally wild, curly tresses into ponytails. I ended up keeping that wig and it is now part of Becky's signature look.

The Minifee WooSoo that will be escorting Becky to Ban's Boutique for a faceup has arrived! That means the pair will soon be leaving for New York and Becky will be returning with a slightly different look. A couple of the planned changes are eyebrows, pearly white teeth, and more freckles than the default.

Congratulations on your new RP friends, MISS ACACIA. When I saw the trees in their forest I couldn't help craving chocolate for some reason.

Harey, did she have those lovely mushrooms for lunch?

 

At the moment I have no plans on having her eyes modded open, though Ban is totally capable of doing that if I decide to go for it. I kind of like Becky's squinty, grinning expression and I don't really think of it as "sleeping", just super happy!

Ok! I need some help. I'm looking for some crochet or knitting patterns for my girl..who's now in the mail on her way! I have wovenflames knitting patterns but no smaller knitting needles (which I've heard that if I scaled the patterns down a fewsize needles, en they fit realpukis) I was kinda hoping for a basic dress pattern (not sewn tho) Ive searched but my eyes Are crossing. I saw some on etsy (beadloomgallerygallery) but I'd rather find something free.. Lol

Perhaps I can take the sewing pattern I found on here and crochet the dress to fit on top? Maybe thats a good idea!

Summer Elf I agree with desertmountainbear, your Roro does look like a Greek Goddess it's her lovely wig, hair band and the gold on her outfit I think

Rain and Wattle found two twin water dragons today (rather, I made the dragons but the fairies didn't notice until after they'd finished running around in the new garden bed I've finished planting - yes, a real one, not a miniature one lol )
The dragon's names are Kawthar and Kelda and they're twins, they're so talkative I think Rain got impatient hearing all their dragony tales, Wattle on the other hand loves listening to everyone.

 

Becky and Bobby stand very well on their travel box and I think it is made of tin. Bobby just ran off and tried a soup can. Yep, if "tin cans" are made of tin (well...you never know these days, hey? ), then magnets stick to them very well. He was doing all kinds of stunts there. Rather than make tin shoes though I would just find a piece of tin for your Realpukies to stand on. Each of mine has their own thin, round piece that I gleaned from a package of magnets.

Maybe they both could be "roses" of a sort. If you find specific rose classifications you could even give them each a rose name that relates to their specific colouring. I took a quick peek and found all kinds of rose classification names which, when simplified, would make great RP names.

 

they do. it was such a great idea i ran to our dollar store and grabbed some (the magnets were so junky i had no trouble throwing them out though) if i don't want them to show, i slip them under the fabric of my backdrop and they work just as well. (they are great for pukifees too!)

 

Wovenflame, mine were junky, they were black flexible sew on magnets. I did buy some very good strong ones at the same time, but they were not with the disks..

 

Oh geez, I've been gone so long a new thread has started. All of the realpuki spam is making me smile. Been a rough couple of weeks, so thanks all. I'm hoping to get some playtime in this weekend.

Poeticsoul Grannybelle is scrumptious in her circus outfit. Quince would like to arrange a meeting so they can share dragon secrets. He's the dragon whisperer in my crew.

 

Thank you gals for your kind comments on my Roro picture. I like her wig too, and seeing her in it gave me some good ideas about her possible new outfit and image . And Wovenflame thank you for the link, I'm going to see if I can use those rose names.

nancyme12 Wow, more dragons and dragon whisperers in the thread! The gray toothy one looks especially serious. Quince is so very brave to have tamed them.

Today was a sunny day and I went for a walk in the park with Tyni. Realpukis look so at home in the natural surroundings, like they belong there.

 

I love my little magnetic disks! Found them at the craft store. The funny thing is that last year I bought 2 packs of magnets that must have had these same disks, but they were of no use to me so I must have thrown them away. Then last month I went out and bought magnets just for the disk! If anyone is looking for something to actually do with the magnets, how about these flowers? http://www.simplyvintagegirl.com/bl...9/tutorial-how-to-make-lovely-fabric-flowers/ That's what I did with the magnets I bought last year and I plan to make some more. I used a different tutorial but it's the same idea. Just free hand cut out circles of polyester silk, did not cut notches, and gently melted the edges over a candle, then layered them and sewed them together with tiny beads for the center of the flower and hot glued magnets onto the back. They're quite pretty and make a great little gift I made some pins too, or you could glue on hair clips.

I really need to get some more pictures of Pea. Love her so much but have not taken a lot of pictures! Sadly, I'm not much of a photographer and my camera hates taking pictures of tiny things, and I don't have a good backdrop. Should really buy a piece of poster paper.

Quick autumn spam...

 

This was one of those "accidental" photos I managed to take today. I was outside taking photos of all the new Halloween dragons I've recently finished and had Rain, Wattle and Lemuria sitting in plants and trees around me. Rain fell a little way into a shrub full of flowers and the sun was coming in just so, I took the photo and surprise - it actually looks good lol! Hope you like it

Just one quick photo before I am off to bed. Mum's Soso arrived today, and to my surprise I have accidentally ordered her in Beautiful White tone, but I showed her to mum at the studio today and let her know that we can get a natural one if she wants, but she loooooved this one. She's put her in an outfit I got for her from myheartforcrochet. She doesn't have a wig yet, it's on it's way. Mum's over the moon with her and this is one of the photos she took of her today....

I've had to do the cellphone correspondence and I have to say, I admire your perseverance. It's not an easy way to post!

Becky hasn't left yet. She was waiting for her Minifee WooSoo chaperone to arrive then I had to wait for company to leave so I would have time to sew a corset for an exchange Ban Sidhe and I are doing. Becky will be travelling with the rest of the package when it leaves tomorrow. Bobby is kind of young so I don't think I'll tell him until the last minute. No sense in giving the poor little guy a sleepless night.

The sheet under the Realpukies does not need to be magnetic, OneTwoBead. It only needs to be metal. The Realpukies have magnets in their feet and will adhere to any metal that would normally attract a magnet. Things like cookie sheets, refridgerators, tin cans, metal lunch boxes and so forth, will all work.

Autumn really does love the sewing notions, Nimbus_life. Maybe she is related to Amelia Thimble? Your photos are lovely! Just a friendly reminder though, photos are limited to one per post in these threads. If you have a bunch you can link to them or create a Gallery Thread to show them all off at once.

 

Onetwobead Yes Goldie is working on winter fairy clothes. We are using treats from the harvest for all the trick or treaters.
