Name: Tristan St. Cyr

Personality: Tristan is a person is hard to know and difficult to like, and he prefers it that way. He likes to put a distance between himself and everyone else, but it is more out of shyness than actual arrogance. He is very intelligent. He has a secret fear that people will figure out that he is really a giant geek at heart, so goes out of his way to dress well and seem sophisticated.
History: Tristan's family is originally from New Orleans. His parents moved to Arkham so that his mother could finish her doctorate at Miskatonic University. His father is an art dealer and works out of Boston. Devout Catholics, they decided to forego the Arkham public schools and sent their children to Our Lady of Sorrows instead.

Tristan means "sad", St Cyr = Saint Cyr (Saint Cyrus). Cyrus means "of the sun".

Likes: being recognized, learning languages, mysterious libraries, gardens
Dislikes: being put on the spot, having to speak in front of people
Personality: Ivy is a bit shy, but very bright. She likes to be part of a group and hates being left out of things.
History: Ivy is from San Antonio, TX. Her father is a corporate lawyer, her mother a lobbyist. They heard of the school through business contacts and decided to send her there. She's new and is still trying to fit in.

Ivy means “ivy” (LOL, obviously!), Sandoval is from the Spanish village “Sandoval de la Reina” meaning “New Forest of the Queen.”

Despite their striking resemblance, Tristan and Ivy are not related.
