Personality/Background: Darin is an introvert and silent guy. He has some trust issues, but he really trusts Robin, whom he consider his closest friend except for Ainan.
When Darin was young, he lived in a town with his people, but one night they got attacked by the humans and most of the people got killed. The rest of them that survived hided in the mountains, where humans would rarely come, because of the harsh nature. Darin lost his father, mother and two sisters. He ended up living with his aunt and uncle, who treated him very lovingly, but he couldn't shake off the feeling, that he had a purpose, and he needed to leave the town. When he became an older teen, he asked the elders of his people permission to leave, but they refused him, and said if he left, he would not be allowed back. But he left anyway.
At first he joined a group who had the goal to get rid of all the humans in Larika, but in a fight with NG, Darin got badly hurt and was left to die. NG couldn't bear to let him die, so they took him with them home and treated him. It took a long time for him to trust them, but eventually he became part of the team, and he befriended Robin and Gerda.
