Additional info/backstory: Amaranth is the "Guardian of the Forgotten Forest", it sounds like an impressive title, but he mostly sorts out territorial disputes between squirrels and makes sure the trees are all happy. He loves the forest dearly, but often feels constricted by it’s wooded boundaries and archaic rituals. Secretly in his heart, he wonders what else is in the world and yearns to see great things.

Any additional info/backstory: Osa is the third incarnation of this character, one being a girl hence the name 'Osa'. The Osa spirit was placed into the boy after she agreed to replace an aging leader of an elusive clan taking on the leaders memories and actions for the sake of her people. Osa now happily lives at Hokanji Shrine causing endless mischief and annoying most all inhabitants... always raiding the kitchen.
